This is an excellent hostel that is clean, intimate and very well priced in a good location. Customer service at the front desk was very good, I met a lot of interesting people (it is a cozy and intimate hostel), they have daily events where people meet to goto a local bar/club. Beds are comfortable, the wi-fi worked well, a good common area with a tv, there is an outdoor area to sit outside if you wish, a breakfast is for sale (2 grocery stores are nearby) with a small but clean kitchen are where you can meet and talk with others who are staying there. 2 subway stations are about a 5 minute walk away and lockers are in the room if you need one. A couple of minor negatives are there is no elevator/lift and the bathrooms/showers could get crowded. An outstanding hostel that I would stay at again if I go back to Berlin.…
Great affordable hostel close to Frankfurter Alee S-bahn. Gotta love their backyard <3 The kitchen is real comfortable with great cooking facilities and two refrigerators. The staff is international and very friendly. Bathrooms are pretty good too and you can find a couple of fairly big supermarkets around the hostel. Oh, nice bars and restaurants are real close and the Boxhagener Platz with a nice flea market on Sundays is in a few hundred meters.
Very helpful and friendly staff who will help provide any info needed. Very friendly vibe and met many engaging and friendly fellow guests. WiFi good in most areas but kitchen. Hostel alway very clean and good simple breakfast for 2.50 euro. Good location. Other guests respectful when back late. Great vibe.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in my trip. Katja was super helpful and answered all my 1000 questions with a smile in her face. Eli couldn't be better! Great talks in the garden, helped me find a flight and blocked a bed for me when I wasn't sure when I'd leave Berlin. I've met the best people in my 5 weeks trip in this place!
This is honestly one of the worst hostels at which I have ever stayed. First, the staff were incredibly rude when I was having problems accessing their WiFi. And whilst other guests seemed to be using the WiFi just fine, others, aside from me, kept on getting signals that went in and out. It's convenient that they should blame others for mass inconsistencies. Second, not only was my room little more than a closet of a larger multi bed room, the electrical jacks were in odd places. For example, if I wanted to turn on the lamp, I had to take it off the desk (which was attached to the opposite wall) and plug it in across from the desk. Bad planning and design. Third, the bathrooms had no privacy in the showers. That's right, the shower doors were clear. Most guests are polite and won't bother others, but could it really have been so hard for the 'management' to ensure greater privacy out of tact (tact is definitely on reserve here). Fourth, there is a lot of passive aggressive signage. It seems that the 'management' like ad to !! after every other sentence on a sign. It's like their shouting at you with having the nerve to actually do so. Just stay away from this place. Sure their breakfast is only about 3 euros, but you're getting what you pay for. Don't give them a cent!…
We didn’t like so much our nights in this hostel. It is so small, no nature, noisy, and moreover it is a bit dirty. I don’t recommend this hostel for your holidays. You can found better for the price.
the location is absolutely perfect if you want to see the best part of berlin. staff is super friendly and helpful. whatever questions you have about the area (what bars to visit, where to shop and which restaurant to eat at) or berlin in general they will know the answer! apart from that all clean and nice atmosphere. Will def book again!
My friend and I spent 3 nights in this hostel, and as an experienced traveler, this has by far been my favorite hostel in Europe! The toilets, kitchen, rooms and common space were all clean, the rooms are big enough that 8 bedrooms don't feel very crowded. The night crew: Ben & Jase were awesome! and other staff was also very friendly and chill. The hostel introduced "socials" for the nighttime and those are great to get to know a few local bars or good food night markets. Only thing is that the breakfast menu could be better... But, the location is pretty central (Ex: 5 minutes away from Netto and 10 minutes from Dunkin Donuts on the way to the subway) so you could also grab breakfast on the go! Also very cheap and way more central than most hostels in Berlin! Overall, a great experience and if ever in Berlin, I would recommend this hostel!…
I had a great stay here for three nights. The location was perfect, the street the hostel was located in was quiet, but there were shops, restaurants, bars, clubs nearby. The price was very low and the staff was so nice. The hostel was very clean. My only disadvantage was the beds: the matress was too soft and so was the pillow. I would defenitely come back here when I go to Berlin again!
I've stayed in hundreds of Hostels before and I've been to Berlin before as well, but I've to say that this is the best Hostel I've ever been to! I arrived early in the morning and Lisa was so welcoming! I was very tired and did not expect to be checked in earlier. Lisa not only did it but she upgraded me to the double room, I'd booked a single bed room. The bed in the room was so much better than my own bed back home! The room's big enough, with a massive window, table, chairs, mirror, everything you might need. The location's great! You feel the real Berlin, and is very close to an U-Bahn station. The Hostel is super clean and the facilities are on top! Great value for money! If you're in Berlin, stay at U Inn Berlin! I highly recommend and I'll come back! Thanks a million to Lisa and the team who work there for making me my first day in Berlin the best!…
