I stayed at Tom's for 5 nights. Everything was okay. But no more than that. There is no lobby for this hotel. So no socializing... (As might seem at their site) room cleaning was medium level. And room was very basic. Will definitely look for an other place for my next visit

Tom's Hotel is a located in the gay area of Schoneberg. It has excellent rooms with great facilities and is very clean and comfortable. We were there when outside temperatures were never higher than minus 1 and the room was warm and comfortable at all times. Staff are very friendly and professional.Overall, excellent value and location. Strongly recommended.

I have to admit that when I read previous reviews of the apartments and hotel I was slightly apprehensive, but I would like to inform anyone that is thinking of staying here that I would highly recommend the apartments. Not only were they clean, spacious and excellent value for money, Tom's Hotel also offers a great location. Additionally as our...

Check in was great and the staff very helpful in getting me settled. It was an old fashioned room which I find fun and the size of the room was great. I was there very little and was basically using the room for sleep and a bit of entertaining with new friends. The space was fine for that. I found...

We stayed in Tom's Apartments, Baum Room, 2 Gossowstrasse. We were checked in and out by Tim, who we found to be friendly and polite. On arrival and unpacking our bags we realised the apartment was in need of a deep clean and modernising, no microwave, no spoons, no tea towel, one pan and one frying pan both greasy so...

My experience with Tom's wasn't great, I basically had to change apartments twice. I'd booked a double bed apartment and when I checked I was given the keys, I arrived at the apartment to find it was a twin. So I had to drag my large suitcase back to the hotel office and get it changed, the staff member Tim...

Rooms are a little run down with oldfashioned interior. But for the price and location it is ok. The guy at the reseption was welcomming. I felt more like living in a flat than a hotel because the rooms are spread around in buildings where people live. It was quiet and i got a small terrace on my own

Husband and I stayed in Berlin for 5 days in April. We loved our stay at Tom's. It's perfectly located in the gayborhood, walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and shopping! Check in and out was super easy. Room was cute and super clean. Would definitely stay again!

Very comfortable, clean room, great bed with nice linens. Room had a very modern updated bathroom with nice towels. The only negative I can give, is the front entrance. That was very dated and warn and frankly a little scary. The room though, more than made up for this. About the location, nothing to complain about. Walking distance to everything.

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
