Pyjama Park Schanzenviertel

We stayed as a group of 7 friends and had room 4 which is an 8 person room. Arrival was straight forward we found the reception without any issue. We were given as many keys as required and guided to our room. The rooms are on the 4th floor but there is a small lift to take you up. Don’t get confused going up to the room, the building must be used for other companies etc. You can get the U train here from the airport, we had a taxi on the way in. The room was excellent, the beds have a plug and a light and a curtain to draw over and the beds were comfy. There was a table in the middle and room 4 was opposite the communal bathrooms which were kept clean and well presented. The bathroom was well presented, clean and the shower was powerful. The toilets were split for male and female. Overall, we would all recommend the hotel we stayed in and would visit there again. …

Great hostel

Located perfectly, clean and with spacious rooms. We had a room with four beds and a couch. All went out perfectly. Just the heating element was a bit too small for the size if this room. The hotel seems to be very safe as well, as even the elevator requires a key. We received two keys for the room and this kept us vrey organized :))

Very comfortable and in great location!

Really enjoyed our stay here. It's in a lovely part of the city where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Tree lined street with a small park over the road. Very clean hotel with helpful staff and great rooms.

Probably the most modern hostel I've seen

I stayed two nights in a six bed mixed dorm, which actually really looks like it is shown on the pictures, for those who are as sceptical as I was when I saw those photos. It had a bathroom inside of the dorm, containing a toilet and a shower (massive and with a comfortably large rain shower), and a wash basin inside of the room for everyone accessible even when the bathroom was occupied. There also were two more bathrooms on the same floor outside of the room. The location of the hostel is right in the area of "Sternschanze" with U/S Sternschanze a two minute walk and the area around U St. Pauli a ten minute walk away. It is comfortably quiet at night, the beds are really comfy and thanks to the curtains for every bed, it's possible to sleep through the night even if your roomies come back later at night and need the light. Everything was nicely clean and in order. This hostel does coest a bit more than the average one in that area but as it almost resembles a hotel, that is a fair price in my opinion. I would definitely stay there again.…

One of the nicest hostels i've ever stayed in

Brilliant welcome, initially me and my friends were not in the same room, although the lady at the desk helped us. Great location for bars and restaurants. Very clean and very comfortable. Probably not the best if you're a solo traveler as the communal area is only in your room.
