Have just spent 6 nights in this gem of a B&B. Extremely friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, really good value for money. Excellent location; minutes from the U Bahn and a good selection of restaurants in the neighborhood as well as some interesting little shops.
Gorgeous rooms, very clean and well presented, friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is the best it can be. The kind ladies who make breakfast even specially catered for my Gluten Free diet when they found out, even though I brought my own!
Friendly, cozy and quiet place, just next to the Schanze. Would rather not have seen the dust balls spread around the floor at the end of the 2nd day... I would definitely recommend it, at a slightly lower price.
I came across the Schlaflounge by chance. always checking Tripadvisor and looking for something different from the mainstream, I came across this place. The central location, walking distance (5minutes) to the U-Bahn and around 10 minutes to the famous Schanzenviertel it was perfect. We traveled with our own car, and got lucky of getting a parking right in front of the house. As the place lies in the residential area, you might have to park a little bit further away, depending on your arrival time. Our room had a window towards the backyard, which helped to be less noisy but as it is residential area, you cannot avoid noise completely. It was super clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom - all in all a good experience. Hair dryer would have been great - but survived without it. The prompt replies via email as well as friendly service during our stay added to good experience we had. We did not try their breakfast but it looked nice. One small point if you are an international traveller - they do accept credit cards, but charge an addition 3% fee. so if you want to avoid that - bring cash or EC card. What you see on their website is what you get - no need to add any more pics ;-)…
