Atlantic Kempinski is a luxury hotel and I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite. extremely large rooms, high ceilings and beautiful location / views. The rooms are extremely comfortable and have all the amenities you can expect from an high end hotel. Nice bar and great breakfast.

Like stepping aboard the Titanic, entering this hotel is indeed a home-coming to the ultimate luxury: impeccable service, subtly attentive staff, glorious old-world decor (indeed Kaiser Wilhelm's portrait is tiled above the main lobby's mantelpiece) and a pedigree as long as a century - something you'd be forgiven for thinking no longer exists in this modern world. This is indeed...

I‘ve been to Hamburg so often, but had never stayed at the infamous Atlantic, so I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, the stay was rather disappointing. I stayed for two nights, the hotel had large events every night and it was clear that the hotel (and staff) was overextended by this. The hotel may be a nicer experience...

Enjoyed my time there except one night got kicked out of the lounge because a German dignitary was arriving and had to finish my drink in the lobby. Oh well. Food was good and rooms were beautiful. Really enjoyed going to the shopping area. Fantastic entertainment. I like that no building is higher then the steeples.

We had an amazing 2 night stay for a friend's birthday. Reception staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, nothing ever too much trouble. Concierge staff very entertaining and knowledgeable. Spa staff came in early especially to provide the facials we booked on a whim for our last day. Bar staff attentive and efficient. Sunday breakfast lasted 2 hours it was...

Its a lovely hotel with a lot of character. The staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Its also in a great location, walkable distance to the town centre , cafes and main attractions. 10 mins walk to the railway station too. My only suggestion would be to have English channels. We couldnt find any but...

The hotel is epic in its proportions. Very friendly welcome and efficient check-in. My room was huge and well furnished/equipped. Mini bar well stocked. Didn't have time to check out the gym or spa. I was in the city on business and only stayed for a single night but I reccomend staying here oh and the breakfast is not to...

Hotel is very inviting as you walk into a classic German lobby-lounge. Reception is efficient and brisk. Room was recently refurbished and was very nice, albeit a bit short of places to hang things, while the bath room was nicely furnished but "cozy". The breakfast room is very large with a buffet lacking nothing. If you are looking for champagne,...

This is a properly grand hotel. The reception area is luxurious and spacious and the rooms are very well fitted out with all of the little extras that make a difference. It has tremendous character and the staff are great. However, I won’t use it again in a hurry. On a very large double bed, it has two single duvets....

A classic luxury hotel that unfortunately lacks the interior style a superb five star deluxe hotel should have. The location is good, the service excellent. I mean excellent! The concierce is a rather jolly figure (you will find out) he is great, but a little tricky :-) The staff in this place is just amazing with makes up a little...
