I only returned from Park Hotel am Berliner Tor yesterday and I am still trying to figure out my thoughts on the hotel. The overriding feeling was underwhelmed and disappointed. Right from checking-in when I wasn't given any info on the "free" wifi, I went up-to my bedroom and then had to come back down again to ask about this...

The hotel is conveniently located just a few stops on S1 train from the airport. You can actually see the hotel as you approach Berliner tor train station, so no problems finding it either. From Berliner tor train station you can quickly and easily access most of the city sights. We bought a group pass that covers all buses, trains...

I am in this Hotel for 30 Min now and I regret the booking already. It is IBIS standard or even below that. The rooms are tiny and have no equipment, no Coffee or Tea facilities, no iron board, no water cooker, no safe, nothing. The bathroom size is less than 2 m², not easy to turn around inside. The...

This hotel is in an ideal location. You can get a direct train from the airport which takes about 20 minutes and the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station Berliner Tor. The hotel is clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The staff were really great with information to get us around the trains and places to visit....

We stayed here for 2 nights and were very impressed. The hotel's staff were extremely friendly and helpful providing us with maps as well as advising us what to do in Hamburg. They also allowed us to store our luggage as we had arrived a little too early to check in. The room was modern, comfortable and well equipped with...

The position is perfect: 5 min walk to the strassenbahn. You can also walk to the city center in maybe 20-30 minutes.

I stayed for 6 nights. The Hotel is 5min walk from the S1 metro stop, direct from the Airport. Single room, had a double bed, TV, Fridge, free wifi. The Bathroom was small but adequate. Only one Lift ever seemed to be working. Rooms were cleaned every day. I didn't have the €13 breakfast, plenty of much cheaper options a...

Room was small but clean and modern. Had a fan which helped for the warm summer evenings. Black out curtains and an extra external window blind. Bathroom was very small, not usually a problem for me but the shower was a bit difficult to get in and out of because of the odd perspex enclosure. Staff were very friendly and...
