I had an utterly splendid time while staying at your humble hotel. The carpeted walls were a particular delight on the eye. And the mirrored ceiling is a must have piece of self critiquing equipment. However as with everything it was not all plain sailing. Upon arrival into the communal bathroom, I noticed a rather large painting of a ladies “part” bent over in my face at eye level. Rather nice you might think? Think again, upon examining this piece of modern art, my Johnson decided to stand dutifully to attention and I proceeded to have a friendly fire incident involving my chin and my own urine. May I suggest a more unattractive piece of artwork, a watercolour of a quiet english village maybe? Or a dog playing snooker? Or maybe even Jesus Christ our lord and saviour. This I feel, will prevent further pissy mishaps from happening in the future. Apart from that I had a wonderful time. Cheerio, Jeremy Beadle …
3 of us stayed here for a weekend. The location is excellent, very close to the Reeperbahn underground station. There are many bars nearby as well as a cafe bar underneath. The accommodation is basic and there is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The staff were friendly and offered advice of where to go. An excellent party destination
We stayed here on a stag do, the main reason for picking this was the price and location, could not find a better location than this. Walking distance to all the bars. Some very questionable decorations. But that's exactly what we were after.
Slightly overpriced for an hostel and kinda shady. BUT: if you're in hamburg for a night (or more than one, hopefully) out in the Reeperbahn, this hostel has exactly the perfect location and party vibe.
We, four girls, spend three days in may in the kiezbude. We had a four bed room with a shower, toilet was outside, shared with the other guests. Our room was clean and also the toilets and the bar. Smoking is allowed in the bar, thats not my thing, but we was every evening outside. We spend Not much time in the hostel, cause we had beautiful weather. The hostel owner are very nice and gave us many tips to go for. There is a small bar with free tea and coffee. Also you can let some foods and drinks in a public fridge. The design of the hostel is kind of special. It remembers to a whorehouse, and indeed it was one before a few years :D That makes the kiezbude to a special place on the Reeperbahn. Location couldnt be better. You can go everywhere in a few minutes. I would sleep there again, for sure! …
