I enjoyed by three day stay at the Vorbach Hotel. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the Domntor train station. There is an events/information office in the train station that can provide you with a map and directions to the hotel. The hotel itself, seems to be two buildings connected on the second floor. The building features classic tradional...

My stay in this hotel was extremely pleasant and for a decent price. Room with lots of natural light and a view of a big tree. Very peaceful. Great, strong shower and good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended :-)

The hotel rooms are OK and the price is quite reasonable for Hamburg, especially for the quiet nature of the hotel. Skip the breakfast. I paid 9 EUR a night for a very basic breakfast that was...

I stay here when traveling for a single night on business. The hotel consists of former apartment houses and the structure of the building still shows this. As a result every room has a different layout. The style of the room dates back from the late 80ies, at least it feels so. But everything is in good conditions. Bathrooms are...

Stayed here in Nov. 2011. It is a very convenient location for the university, not far from some lovely old neighborhoods on the lake. The room looked very clean; the pillows were indeed terrible. The breakfast was decent but nothing to write home about; the staff friendly and efficient. My caveats were as follows: The layout over several buildings can...

We visited Hotel Vorbach early November and it is a construction site. They are working at the front with heavy tools. There is no information or warning about this on the official hotel internet site. So, when we arrived, they put us in a room next to the construction. Early in the morning, we were awakened by the noise of...
