Great location for a budget hotel. Handy for the station and U Bahn. Beds were unbelievably comfortable. Kebab restaurant next door was excellent, best Donner! Ignore negative reviews, you get what you pay for. Room was comfortable and clean.
I booked this Hotel due to its close location to the train station and being close to the city center. But I did not check the neighborhood.

Expected better got worse! Terrible street that makes you feel unsafe. Sex shops, strip clubs, begging, etc. Amsterdam's Red Light area is a joy in comparison. Stairs to lobby are killer. Staff treats you like dumb tourists. Save your $$ go elsewhere, anywhere!

Bed matrass too soft. Stinky smell kept coming out of the shower's sink - had to keep the bathroom's window open all day and night. Elevator is at mid'floors....More
