#91 of 339 hotels in Hamburg
Hotel Stella Maris is located at the port of Hamburg, close to the Landungsbrucken underground and "S-Bahn" train station, in the middle of the lively Portuguese quarter. Here you will find the typical Hamburg charm, with numerous quaint pubs and cosy restaurants: maritime and trendy at the same time. The furnishings of this modern hotel with its 49 bright, friendly rooms are based on a maritime theme. The salon with library and the recreation room with tabletop football provide different options for relaxation. The public areas in the hotel provide free WiFi, and the lobby has two Internet terminals that are free to use. Due to the Corona pandemic, we are unable to provide some services and facilities, or only to a limited extent. Details/information can be provided by phone or e-mail.

The hotel is not very inviting from outside. Inside is a bit better. I even booked 2 rooms At the hotel but without payment securing. I arrived to the hotel and then it started with receptionist: she was aggresive, unpolite, and rude. I just left the place. Dont reccomend

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for Silvester in Hamburg. t's a good, comfortable and modern hotel in a nice location, right next to the river and near the Landungsbrucken. Reception was friendly and efficient. The room was big and clean with good beds. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast was very good and we liked the breakfast-area very much. The hotel has no private parking, but the St Michaels' carpark is nearby and the hotel let's you use it at a (slightly) reduced rate.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights. There is no 24 hr reception and the wi-fi is soso. But the rest is good, room is good of size, clean and good shower. Location is convenient, no noisy rooms. The atmosphere is quite good in this place. They have a kind of a maritime atmosphere and a nice lobby with good seating. The breakfast is fabulous, for only 13 euros it is the best, best breakfast I had. Not only because of the food, but mainly because of the staff. They were honest, friendly and available. It is a nice romantic hotel, and although my purpose was business I did like it here pretty much.

Stayed here for three nights with my wife, one daughter and a grandson - and were not disappointed. There is a straight-through S-bahn train from the Airport to very near the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet street and had quite a number of restaurants, particularly Portuguese and Italian, very near it. Part of our purpose was to take the youngster to see Miniatur Wunderland, which is the most amazing scale model that you are ever likely to see in your life, but we were also able to take a two-hour Harbour Tour so that the young man, and the rest of us, could admire the enormous container ships that arrive. Truly impressive - if worrying that Europe needs to import such vast quantities of goods. Our hotel was within walking distance of the Wonderland and also of the new Elbephilharomie, which is the exceptional new concert hall that has recently been completed in the docks area. Even if you have no intention of going to a concert, you should go up on the unusually long escalator to the Foyer area and Auditorium entrance because, on this level, you can walk all the way around the perimeter of the building and enjoy the amazing views. As for the hotel, the beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and properly equipped. Our rooms were at the back looking down onto an enclosed garden area with one or two mature trees and some grass that needed a bit of a trim! The breakfasts were excellent, true German style, with quality prepared fruit and pretty well anything else you might want,
