We had 3 overnights in a fantastic suite like hotel room, which was betyder comfortable. Newlivinghome is placed so near to everything, and convenient if you don't fancy to go to the city centre. Subway and buses just outsider the doorway, which tales you to city or Airport in just a few minutes, Hamborg Zoo as just next door. Hotel newlivinghome has it All, great restaurant, pool, etc. Restaurant to afforable Prices in great quality
One night stay for business booked by local team. Apartment block (mainly for senior age range) with spare suites rented out as 'hotel'. Suites large and clean although slightly dated. Buffet breakfast standard European fair but good coffee served to table.Easily accessible by 15min taxi from airport or U-Bahn across the road. Bar very quiet, arriving at 10.30pm only 1 other person in it, my manager!
- Free wifi did not work most of the time we were there (only the first night) - Pool was great. Towels provided and very clean changing area and showers. Sauna room also nice. Sign advised to go in sauna naked as this is the German way. FYI pool has no shallow end (4ft deep the whole time) - Rooms are older but clean - We stayed in #217 - Sofa bed mattress was terrible. Fine for our kids but I would not have slept well on it. The bed mattress was slightly better - There is a kitchen with fridge but it not equipped with anything, no utensils or dishes. Just a couple of glasses - You have the option to pay 6 euros per day for utensils - Bathroom spacious with large shower - Great location if you want something a bit quieter - U-bahn (subway) station across the street so easy to get to city centre (station is Hagenbecks Tierpark) - Grocery store across the street - Several restaurants nearby (Greek, pizza, kebabs, cafe) - Free breakfast is an extensive buffet with both American and German style breakfast - Great place to stay for anyone with mobility issues as it is a senior citizens apartment complex so it is designed with these patients in mind. - Hair dryer needs to be replaced …
This is not a hotel, it's a senior's home, with vacant suites that are rented out based on availability. The rooms are very old looking, and it's far from expected hotel standard. On the positive side, the rooms are very large (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom), and the restaurant is very good. But it is a senior's home.
We stayed at the NewLivingHome for overnight was very good. The rooms are very large,we got the kitchen area consisted of a hob and fridge , tvs in lounge and bedroom, ample space for storage etc, there were no tea and coffee facilities in our rooms parking close by. The rooms were basic but comfortable, there are swiming pool notvery big bot they got suana too. Breakfast was great for us.
