We only had one night with Ronny but will definitely be back for a longer visit to Hamburg. This is a fabulous place to hang out in the Reeperbahn area. Super cool design and a charming host. We felt totally at home and very comfortable and cosy on a cold wet January night. Dinner at Ahoi and then the show at Pulverfass all within 100m made for a fun quick visit.
I spent a night here as I was in Hamburg specifically to see a concert at the new Elbphilharmonie. I was a bit unsure about staying on the Reeperbahn, but Chez Ronnie is perfectly situated - less than 50m from one of the Reeperbahn S-Bahn entrances. Ronnie was a very good host and the accommodation was good too. Room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. Would recommend staying here.
Ronny is the ultimate host. Made our two nights stay very pleasurable. Property a few steps away from metro station and allowed us to explore hamburg using metro on a couples (group) daily pass of 11.80 euro for the two of us. Cenrally located farily close to both cruise center and main train station.
Hidden between houses of pleasure, restaurants questionable quality you find a lovely small hotel / guesthouse Chez Ronny. We were welcomed most friendly by the owner him self, he guided us through the living and our room. Explained the house rules and poured us two beers. About our room, decorated, illuminated, not to big, beds are soft, cushion sucks, but it is cozy. We will enjoy our stay, thank you Ronny.
I really liked this hotel, my husband treated me to 2 nights in hamburg and this is the hotel he booked. The location was fab it was just outside a major train stop, there was nice bars near by and plenty of places to eat. The man who ran it (Ronny) was really nice and very helpful, he recommended a local cafe to get something to eat and it was lovely and the people who worked there were very welcoming. The reason I gave 3/5 was because the lighting in the room was terrible there was pinky/purple neon lights throughout the room. Yes i did see this on his website but I presumed there would be "normal" lights also. I had to get ready in the bathroom and considering the mirrors in the bedroom were large the one in the bathroom was a fraction of the size. One more thing - the bed was comfy but the pillows were very flat and definitely need changing.…
