The room was satisfied, I was given the room at the corner. The buffet breakfast was great and variety to choose from. However the guest lifts were very small, can fit in 2 persons at a time with luggage.Location is far from restaurant and drug store.

This is a pretty large hotel. The restaurant is closed at night. The Sportbar was open and I had a great meal there. The rooms were really nice and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were really bad though. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety.

A big hotel with more than 400 rooms that needs revamp asap! In addition, the quality of linen and towels is really poor. There are no amenities in the bathroom but just a dispenser.. It also takes more than 10min in the morning to wait for the lifts. It is not centrally located. The only good thing was the renovated breakfast room and the breakfast.

Know this hotel since many years and stayed there also when it was a Queens hotel. Since it has been sold to the Leonardo hotel group. Indeed they did invest but it really needs more than new carpets in the bedrooms. The bathroom looks tired and needs a total refurb! In the room itself we found a lack of maintenance and housekeeping, walls need painting, broken lightbulb, electricity leads untidy, kebab leftovers from previous guests on the balcony, hairs on the sheets and bathroom floor. Overall disappointing. The worse was the check in......We had the luck to have a trainee with a supervisor training her. Totally understand that training is needed however not like we experienced. Some examples: No eye contact No " willkommen......" No upselling i.e breakfast, bar, etc. Not mentioned that we were part of a training session The young person had no clue how the computer did work, had to help her No mentioning about car park Overall not a great experience .... I know many hotels that have internal training rooms where new associates can train before being "dumped" in front of guests. I felt sorry for her and the supervisor definitively lacked any on the floor training qualities. Our son lives in Sachsenhausen so next time another hotel!

This is an old Holiday Inn with magnificent views of the city from the other side of the river. It is fairly remote, if walking, from the obvious attractions but is fairly close to the cider district of Sachsenhausen. Big rooms & very comfortable beds but with a rather small bathroom. There is a fancy coffee making machine but despite asking 4 times at reception there were never any caffeine-free capsules supplied - I find this very odd in this modern age. We also asked for a container for ice-cubes as there were only two glasses in the room - really great to have ice-cubes available on our floor but what do we put them in. The water & chocolates supplied were great as was the fridge & safe. There seems to be a disconnect between front of house & housekeeping which gives an impression of indifference to visitors who are not part of the coach tour or seminar trips.
