Stayed here while attending a conference at the nearby university. I only stayed for a night but the room overall was ok but it was stuffy and I noted did not have air conditioning which would have been a problem in warmer weather. Having the window open let in a lot of noise although my room was not street facing...

The room had one small bar of soap, a very small stall shower and skimpy towels. The location is good, and depending upon whom you speak with at the front desk, the experience can be a good one. American tourists are not usually found here.

I chose this hotel having stayed there in the past when on business (last stayed about 20 years ago) and honestly hardly anything has changed at all. It is still in a great location, the hotel has a refined ambience and the staff are friendly. Also the price was favourable compared with others in the area. However the keys are...

Stayed there for several nights on a business trip to Frankfurt. As others have noticed, the location is very convenient. My room faced the very busy street and despite the solid double-glazed windows, the noise could be heard throughout the night. The single room was very small - it would have been difficult to spend much time there outside bed...

I can say the only positive points were quite area and good breakfast. .. Staff were not kind to you at all! I suggest everyone to try Florentina hotel instead of palmenhof. The facilities were old. It was not a good experience for me

The hotel is very close to the center and to the expo. Large and clean room. The staff was very professional and friendly. Maybe the negative point is the cost of breakfast... too expensive. Probably next time I will book again here.

The Palmenhof is equidistant between Bockenheimer and Westend U bahn stations and 15 minutes on foot to Hauptwache...so extremely well situated. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and all of the team are friendly and helpful with recommendations of local tipples and culinary treats. We spent 3 full days walking around the Weihnacht's Markt, shopping malls and visiting...

Nice rooms and well located if you're working in the area. Great traditional German pub next door serves good food and drinks. Beware the WiFi was 5 Euro for 24hr access limited to 100mb max download though. I booked with Expedia and breakfast was not included despite my paying for the superior room. The room was great, well appointed with...

This hotel within an easy walk to the city centre and also to gardens. It is good value for money. Helpful front desk staff. Rooms at the back are quiet and all are clean and comfortable. The only downside was that breakfast was fairly unimaginatively presented and when paying extra for this would expect better quality, especially information as to...

We spent two nights at the Palmenhof and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is well situated, close to an underground station, Bochenheimer Warte, with easy access to Frankfurt City centre. The hotel is also an easy stroll away from the Palmengarten, which is well worth a visit, especially on a Sunday, when little else is open. The...
