I have stayed at this place every time I have been in Frankfurt. This is a great place, if you want value...and are ok with stairs...there are a lot of stairs with no lift, it is basically an apartment building, that is run as a Pension. 1) You will either love Frau Kraus or not, she loves to talk and...

Great location, spacious modern (IKEA inspired) decor. Breakfast is minimalist but conversation with the owner is worth the visit. Walking distance to Central Train Station. Prices are constant and do not go up when there is an Exhibition is town.

Coming from my home country Sweden passing through Frankfurt and on my way back home in November I stayed in ension Aller, Gutleutstrasse 94, as usual. I like this great, clean and very individual place which is named after Carl Aller, an expressionist painter, who had stayed many times in this house. Rarely you will find these days an equivalent...

On a separate occasion in August and again in September I stayed at Pension Aller overnight. Frau Kraus was a most welcoming host who appeared like an angel to a tired traveller. Everything was explained efficiently and courteously. The accommodation was light and airy, clean and tidy. I could not have found better. Thank you Frau Kraus for a wonderful...

I do enjoy Pension Aller every time in Frankfurt and I do enjoy listening to Hannelore Kraus´ stories about the town and its celebraties (Goethe, Adorno ... .-)) Arriving at this place is always a warm welcome. Hannelore Kraus is most upright, authentic and assertive. She gives your stay the special spirit what makes it more than an accomodation. There...

I just came there for a night, but the old lady that runs the place is some kind of weird character. First you think it might be cute but it's not. She can't stop talking and harassing you, like if the fact that you are a guest means that you did something wrong. She showed me the room anyway: it...

This was, indeed, an extremely unwelcoming place and I am surprised that some people actually enjoy staying here. The problem is the proprietor, Frau Kraus, a strangely unpleasant woman of maybe 70. Why she’s running this tiny hotel-pension, I really don’t know. “You’re all the way on top,” Frau Kraus said with devilish glee as way of welcome, looking at...

You walk from the main railroad station with no problem, even with suitcases. The room (1st floor) was very large and clean furnished from Ikea (not a problem!). I come back anytime, he price is also right. The owner speaks fluent English and is very interesting, make sure you have time in the morning to listen and maybe you also...

I've stayed at Pension Aller more than once. 1st time, my 1st time in Germany, I failed to note that my room would be on the 5th floor, without an elevator. Having foolishly packed a huge suitcase, I got enough training to last for a week, lugging it up to the 5th floor. Also encountered the automatic lights on timers...

We have stayed in this Pension several times in past years and return there when we are in Frankfurt. Frau Kraus, the owner, is friendly and enjoys talking to her guests. As in our past visits, the room was very clean, large, and bright and it had kitchen facilities. You should be aware that the pension has no air conditioning...

“There is no lift but the stairs are not too steep but plenty wide enough. The accommodation is set well back off the street and noise is minimal.”
