I spent a Thursday night here in March 2014, and everything went to plan - with a bit of pre-planning! First off, be careful when booking this place! I secured a very affordable bed in a 4-bed room, before later spotting that (a) because I'm over 27, I'd have to pay an extra fee, and (b) because I'm not a...

I spent a night at this place. The location is not bad, but if you travel with more luggage it might be problematic. I was just with a backpack and walked there from the Dom/Römer subway station. The walk is very pleasant, along the river. The good things: it was clean and it's possible to leave one's luggage in storage...

I stayed here with my friends during the European tour of Siam Sinfonietta (youth orchestra from Thailand). The day we arrived is the final match of Euro 2012, there were a lot of people. The place was quite nice (I could see a river from my room), nice weather, less traffic, not very far from the center, very good breakfast....

I stayed here twice - in September 2010 and again in April 2012. The bed was comfortable, the noise not too loud and the building was relatively easy to find, being just the other side of the River Main - very close to the centre of town. I was tired during my first night there and decided to eat in...

We stayed here our first night on our Germany trip- June 4th. A bit noisy perhaps, but rooms were adequate in size and beds confortable. It was also very, very clean. Meals in the cafeteria were also a very good value. The staff was friendly and efficient. The location is great--only a stree out front separates it from being on...

I stayed two nights at the "Haus der Jugend" in Frankfurt which is one of the biggest hostels I ever stayed at and it was pretty fully booked (as far as I can tell). Nevertheless I was booked into a four bedroom instead of a 10 bedroom (for the same price) which I had a reservation for: Thank you!! And...

I concur with most of the reviews. It's a good place for groups. However the rooms can be loud and the food is not great. But the location is ideal and there are seminar rooms you can rent for meetings.

We stayed three night here and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and nice and we also liked the breakfasts. The staff was friendly. Sometimes there was a lot of giggling from young adults, but it wasn't too bad. We had nice views from the windows.

I first stayed at this Youth Hostel Autumn 09 and was really pleased to return Spring 10. I had a single room with little ensuite but colleagues who were sharing said they were also pleased with the facilities. However the beds are very hard with plastic covers. All of my colleagues had trouble sleeping, I even slept on top of...

We stayed in this hostel for 2 nights and it was one of the most horrible stays we ever had! the food was horrible. they served spaghetti bolognese the first evening and the spaghetti really had been cooked way to long. the rooms were really simple and not modern at all (we had a 4-beds room without shower). the most...
