This is a nice, small hotel in a quiet section of town. It's about a five minute walk uphill from the Eagle Tower at the southern end of town. Although I took a cab, I estimate it would take 15-20 minutes to walk to the hotel from the train station. I waited a long time to get a taxi since...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel, and would highly recommend it. It is a short and easy walk from the train station - approx 10 minutes. On arrival at the hotel the receptionist was very welcoming and showed us to a fantastic room (no. 24). The room was very spacious and featured a very...

Your review is a WOW!!! Thank you very much for your detailed description and review. It is so great to read that you enjoyed Ruedesheim, our hotel and especially your room that much.... and honored our philosophy of individual guest service. Since we do not host large bus groups, we try to organize a perfect stay of every single guest....

The hotel was nice. Large room. Quiet location. It is hard to get to the hotel due to one way narrow streets. Parking is limited but available. Staff was very pleasant. The town is a really a cute little tourist town with lots of restaurants and shopping.

Thank you very much for your review. Yes, you are absolutely right, Ruedesheim is a underestimated jewel with its old houses and city structure. There are so many places to enjoy Rhine and wine. Looking forward to welcoming you again, Ralph Willig and team

Sadly we could stay but one night in this gem. Bright and modern, conveniently located a mere couple of minutes walk from the main town. We were in the new annexe, rooms 43 and 44. One word of warning, no lift and quite a few stairs. Very well equipped room with wonderful electronic shutters. A magnificent and huge bathroom! One...

I would like to thank Ralph and his team for our wonderful stay at his fantastic hotel. We were 2 biker couples stopping over for 3 nights mid August touring Germany. Not only did Ralph give up his personal lockable covered garage to house our motorcycles, he gave us some great local information on where and what to do during...

Hello, we hope you had a safe drive back!!! Thank you very much for your perfect rating. Your are absolutely right: no bar means quiet nights and this is a big point we take care of. Luckily we are NOT beside the Rhine river, so NO trains, cars , party people to hear at night..... ;-) And YES: many, many bars,...

My wife and I stayed here recently for three nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the town and this hotel was very nice too. The room (top floor) seemed brand new and it was very quiet. Our only complaints were: we had to log in again each day to use the WiFi and there was no refrigerator in the room. Maybe not...

Thank you very much for rating our hotel. Good to read, that overall you enjoyed the time here. We are very sorry, that you had some little things to complain. Our experience is that the guests like our concept with the "honesty fridge" (with our selection of wines...) and drink vending box. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience. Looking forward...

We stayed at the Hotel Zum Baren in April for two nights to take a day cruise on the Rhine. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay great! The location is excellent, easily walkable to other areas of the town, yet far enough from the rail lines so the trains did not...

Breakfast good and big! Loved all of it! Good located, you can walk from it to the center and sourrondings of the town!

I visited this hotel for my husbands birthday, 3 December. From the minute we arrived we knew we had found a Gem. What a great review!!! Thank you very much! You are right: it is really worth to visit Ruedesheim in summer again... The fresh green of the vineyards seen during a nice walk or hike, a summer ship cruise, the relaxed atmosphere in the outdoor wine gardens and in the narrow city streets.... There are sooooo many reasons to come back!!!...

We stayed at Hotel Zum Bären twice, at different times on the same road trip. What a wonderful, friendly welcome, and so informative!
