Lovely place. More like staying with friends in their very nice (and spotless) house. Cooked breakfast was particularly good and generous in size. Tea and coffee making facilities in room also very good with complimentary quality biscuits, chocolates and fresh milk available. Book your local taxi ahead of time to take you to places in the evenings or to get...

I have made 2x overnight stays at Middle Holly Cottage, the first in Oct 2016 & the second time in Jan 2017. on both occasions, the rooms were spotlessly clean & well appointed, with excellent ensuite facilities. The breakfast offers a little bit extra above the normal fayre & is included in the overnight rate.

Cathie and I had another wonderful stay at Middle Holly cottage!! So comfortable, incredibly friendly and fantastic breakfasts - particularly the great omelette Andy cooked for me, and their lovely homemade bread!! Attention to detail is their speciality, with well presented rooms including chilled fresh milk to make your own brew in the room should you wish. We also enjoyed...

Stayed last night on a visit to see son. What a gem of a place. Outstanding all areas, owners so polite and welcoming. Food this morning was outstanding all cooked fresh to order by owners, help yourself to cereals, fruit juice and fruit. Homemade...

A beautiful home with friendly hosts, a delicious breakfast with home baked bread, what's not to like? Lots of attention to small details such as fresh milk in the room along with home made biscuits. We were attending a wedding and the location was perfect.

From the moment Andy met us as we parked our car, we knew this would be an exceptional stay. Our twin room had every comfort - fresh milk and cookies, modern bathroom with large shower, and luxurious furnishings. The freshly made omelettes at breakfast, along with homemade bread and jams made a perfect beginning to our day.

We spent the first two nights in a little annex called "the barn". This room has its own entrance and was very private and quiet. This suited us as we returned to our room at midnight and we didn't disturb the other guests. This room has a big comfy double bed and plenty of space. On our second visit we...

Absolutely amazing. Quality fresh ingredients, everything homemade - even the jam and beautifully presented. Best afternoon tea I've ever had and I've been to The Ritz! Just off the A6, well worth a visit.

We booked Afternoon Tea and the day was warm and sunny. We were greeted by Gill the owner. The table she showed us to was bathed in afternoon sunshine, and was beautifully set with bone china . We started with a "shot" of her home-made soup which was a taster of what was to come. The sandwiches were made with...
