We ordered three starters between the three of us and shared those.
Starters were good. We had mixed olives, a platter with cold meats and cheese and tzaziki. Only problem was that our mains arrived before we'd finished our starters.
The fries/Pommes were over cooked to me, so I left those.
But the meat was good: I had a skewer with red pepper, onion and grilled pork. A pork 'burger' and then gyros style pork as well. The 'Zigeuner' sauce was average.
There is also a salad bar, but by the time I'd finished the starters (which we shared) and had eaten the main, I no longer fancied a side salad.
Note: I don't use much salt in my cooking at home and therefor find most of the food in Germany quite salty.
All in all the meal was standard-OK. Nothing extra-ordinary. Would I come back? Maybe. There are other local restaurants to try first.

A simple but pleasant pension, really good for a short business stay in Hannover. A taxi to the Hannover Messe takes less than ten minutes.
There is free WiFi, a bar and a decent breakfast. The shower runs hot and can be adjusted to over two meters of height. And with free parking it's 32 Euro for a night spend well.

The room smells humidity, everyday, and this is not disapearing even by leaving the window open the whole day.
everything is cheap and not well finished or assembled.
Way too expensive during Messe events.
Breakfast is ok.
Shower water goes from hot, to too hot, to very cold...every minutes.
