For those used to 5* experience the rooms maybe a little small, however they have been decorated in sympathy with the building. Entering the hotel directly opposite the main Hannover station you enter a bright reception area. A small sitting area is available to read or watch the world go by. Behind this is the bar, leading to the restaurant and the Central Cafe. Each of the socialising areas are on different levels, and although there is a lift to the rooms, I would not recommend for people with mobility problems. Food in the restaurant is first class and the service is excellent - even though the restaurant was busy the staff remained calm, professional and friendly. Breakfast is in the Central Cafe, but the best tables are often reserved for ‘outside guests/parties’, so hotel guests have to sit on the lower deck which has little natural light.

The Kaiserhof is friendly and welcoming, perfectly located on the plaza around Hannover HBhf for quick access to the trains, shops, trams, taxis and all places in central Hannover. I booked a double room here, but when I entered it I found it was incredibly hot and faced the station, so I could tell it was going to be very noisy all night, and I asked to change rooms. They had no other doubles available, and I had to settle for a very small cramped single room - but they still charged me for a double room! 2 Stars knocked off for that........

Breakfast was good with a large buffet, although some of the waiting staff were a bit hit or miss on their levels of service. I didn't try the small bar or the seated area outside as I just slept here and was out on the trains all day during my visit, but they looked good. It's so close to the station that I could be there and back in under 60 seconds. It's clean and the WiFi is good.

Front desk staff were friendly and spoke good English. I would have liked to have stayed longer there.

The hotel, which is close to the train station, has functionally furnished rooms and offers peace and quiet in the evenings. The staff are courteous and the hotel's own restaurant offers good food. The hotel is a good address, especially for business travelers.

Kaiserhof is very centrally located, on Ernest-August Platz. It is a bit older hotel but with all the amenities one can expect. In front of the door are two temporary parking spaces where one can put the car to unload the luggage, a public parking garage is around the corner. Friendly staff, friendly staff. The price is lower than comparable hotels nearby

As always, there is only very positive to report about the reception, the room, the breakfast, the restaurant at the Brunnenhof offers a variety of delicacies and special dishes for every palate. There is something there, really great, the outside location of the hotel is also very functional and comfortably furnished, there is a lot to see. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, prompt check in. Despite a problem with one from this was sorted quite quickly.
Centrally located opposite the main railway station wi5n direct links to the airport.
Small bar with added outside seating area with electric heaters.
Good choice of cold buffet breakfast with limited hot items, however service was bit hit or miss when ordering omelettes/pancakes etc.
Superior Rooms were very good and comfortable.
Highly recommended.

Very convenient boutique hotel in a historic building, just in front of the train station. Decoration with Mediterranean touch. Quite traditional (you still get a key), but lovely. Furniture is not the most fashioned one, but good quality and very good shape. Comfortable beds, extraordinary breakfast, no noise of trains or traffic with closed windows, just hundreds of bicycles parked around. Short walk to everything (trains, Metro, buses, theatres, stores, cafes.... - all in pedestrian regions). Free mini bar with water, juice, beer and peanuts.
The single rooms are very small (just a single bed), but good size of bathroom.
Cozy hotel from old school.

We stayed here the end January for business/ pleasure. Location central to business and shopping and train station. Right on pedestrian shopping area. Small hotel, well maintained. The staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet very nice. Restaurant excellent. We had dinner there one night. My fish came directly out of the fish pond in the middle of the restaurant. Really fresh fish!! Downside - room was small and when window open there was noise from the platz. But then you didn’t have to open window.
All in all we look forward to returning there.

I never take the time to write reviews but we had such a wonderful experience I wanted to share it with others. Hotel Opera's website says "a place to relax and feel at home" and the staff exemplified this. They were so friendly, helped us with directions, taxis, , serving wonderful breakfasts, and opened the bar late night for us! They were attentive and responsive to every detail. We will stay there every time we visit !
