We stayed here before and decided to return during our latest visit of the Christmas Market in Bonn. It's a typical Ibis hotel indeed with a private car park (€ 10 per day) and a 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. Rooms have a private bathroom (rather small), TV and free wifi. In our case, the value for money was pretty good.

I stay regularly in this hotel and am always pleased by the value for money. Standard IBIS- level of accommodation but also with cleanliness and pleasant staff. The WiFi is easy and adequate as well as the convenience to the bus (e.g. 604 directly to the station).

Thought it was smaller room than standard Ibis. Very hot in room even though we opened the window. Pretty cramped bathroom and when you took a shower everyone who lived at the top floor in the house on the other side of the street could watch you. Cheap and Ok for one night.

I found this hotel a good place to stay in Bonn as it offers reasonable prices for the rooms, near to city center and overall the staff is very well trained and humble. The train station is also very closed by in case if you are travelling from Bonn to another city of Germany. Highly recommended.

This was only a stopover on way to Austria. Hotel was clean and quiet. Parking was either underground or open, which we choose as had a roof box. There was a good Indian nearby. It was not close to any ATMs as it took a while to find one. Service in bar good and reception helpful.

I spent a miserable few nights in the Ibis in Bonn during a heat wave. The rooms are not air conditioned, and the hotel is located right on one of the "ring" roads around Bonn. Consequently, with the windows open, it was quite noisy. The staff was fairly indifferent. The room was quite clean and bright, however.
Perhaps in the winter (with the windows closed) my experience would have been better.

Stayed one night for the Weihnachtsmarkt. Very clean, fresh, quiet rear-facing room, comfy bed. The hotel is a brisk walk to the city in good weather or a short €7 taxi ride in the pouring Dec 2012 rain. Car parking reasonable at €5/day. We paid just €57 for the room, but it is on the small side and notably the bathroom ridiculously small. This is not a show-stopper, but next time will prompt us to widen our search for an alternative for a few Euro's more.

Had booked this hotel with our usual request for a quiet room on an upper floor. We were checked in by a rude, uninterested receptionist named Carla who informed us that although it was on the second floor it was a quiet room. After being in the room for approximately 15 minutes it became apparent that this wasn't the case. It seemed as though every other room on the floor was taken by students on some kind of conference who were in and out of each others rooms, shouting to each other in the corridor and generally treating the hotel like a youth hostel. We asked Carla if it was possible to move to another room on a higher floor and were told that our room was quiet so no, we couldn't . As she was possibly the rudeist most uninterested hotel employee we have ever come across we decided to ask for a refund and leave the hotel, despite having nowhere else to stay on that night. Turned out well for us in the end as we found a much nicer hotel in a better location and had a really good night. It's a shame as we regularly use Ibis hotels and the following night had the complete opposite experience with the Brugge Ibis where the staff were obviously paying more attention on the customer service training.

Stayed here 2 night in december 2012 to visit the weihnachtsmarket in the city. Start of the market is around 10 minutes from the hotel. Rooms are clean and OK, bathroom is very small. Anyway overall goor value for money, nice staff and a place I'll remember for next year.

The quality of the service was a pleasant surprise. Room was clean and albeit not overly spacious, it was very practical. Typical IBIS. Location is a bit off the centre of Bonn, but with good service of public transport. By walk you can reach the city centre in about ten minutes. Neighbourhood however can be a bit noisy on weekend night, but nothing that would not be solved by simple closing of the window. All in all good value for the money.

We do not have a fitness room in the hotel. There is a fitness Studio about 10 minutes walking distance. The hotel itself is open 24hr.
Many regards
Sabine
Hi Reoberto
Regarding to the public transportation: The bus coming from the airport cologne stops more or less 200m away from the hotel. To go back to the airport, the bus stop is directly in fornt of the hotel.
