We highly recommend staying at the Insel Hotel. It’s a quaint place, which is centrally located, and family friendly. The staff exceeded our expectations, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful with all sorts of variety (eggs, bacon, bread, deli, fruits, etc.) The rooms were clean, modern, and well kept. They have a very nice sauna setup
with an attached relaxation room below the gym. Overall a great hotel situated within walking distance from shops and restaurants. We will certainly stay here again.

We used this hotel as a stop over during New Year's Eve on our way back to Belgium. The overall location is OK, since somewhat outside of Bonn. However, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are alright, spacious, but the interior design is about average. The hotel has its own parking, but unfortunately all parking spaces were occupied when we arrived. The breakfast the next morning was amazingly good....a very well-stocked breakfast buffet that did not leave anything to be desired. Overall a pleasant experience.

The Insel Hotel was, as always (this is not the first or my last stay there), friendly, clean and comfortable table. The hotel is centrally located in the Bad Godesberg neighborhood of Bonn near the rail station. The breakfast is great.

Beautiful hotel in a great location right in the pedestrian zone. We slept very well. Very friendly staff, extensive and excellent breakfast buffet. Checking in and out was quick. Very close to public transport (bus and tram).
The only drawback is the small parking lot, so arrive early.
I would be happy to come back.

Very pleased to have stayed at Insel Hotel. The interior is very new and the rooms are well appointed, comfortable with modern furnishings.
The staff were helpful. Parking (cost per night) is immediately behind the hotel.
Insel Hotel is right in the middle of Bad Godesberg and so there are plenty of restaurants and shops right outside.
The rooms are quiet and there is no noise from outside, even when the window is onto the plaza.

Well maintained hotel in the pedestrian zone, right place to stay in case you need to be in Bad Godesberg, which was my case. Room was big enough (had double), clean , with comfortable beds. Breakfast offers solid selection of usual food, helpful staff on reception willingly lend me a screw driver to fix my broken luggage case, very good service on the bar. Will come back if again in Bad Godesberg.

When I am in Bonn on Business, I usually stay at the Insel. You can get taxis close to the hotel and there are a number of good restaurants around. The restaurant at the insel is also good.

This is my third stay at this very special unique hotel near Bonn. The two vintage homes that make up the hotel make for a special and unique lodging experience. Every detail is attended to. All the rooms have comfy beds, great bathrooms and perfect lighting. The breakfasts are classic European style served in a lovely, sunny breakfast room. This hotel is the perfect choice for a business or pleasure trip. Finally, the staff is friendly and very helpful.
