Booking on your smartphone is misleading. Although you click "2 persons" when making a reservation, it turns out afterwards that you have only booked for 1 person with the result that you still have to pay € 25, - extra. Even after reporting this no leniency.

We picked this hotel for one night stay while traveling. The hotel is very nice for extended stays. The room was large and had a separate sitting room. The room also came with a kitchen for those longer stays. Parking was very good - we used the DB parking structure just a block away from the hotel. Reception was very nice and attentive. The breakfast that came with the room was also very nice. Enjoyed my stay if only for a night.

So the breakfast true very delicious especially dingen the scrambled egg. The rooms were nice and the beds were cozy. The bathroom was large and well maintained. The pool was unfortunately a bit too much chlorinated. I can only recommend it. It's a beautiful building with a retirement home.

This is the most wonderful hotel if you are interested in a restorative stay. The staff is warm friendly the hotel clean and it has a fabulous pool warm clean comfortable and an immaculately clean sauna and showers. Strongly encourage to pay for breakfast included as the breakfast buffet is exceptional. Additionally there is a laundromat in the basement that you can use for $2.50 euros. If you cant read German find someone to help you as it is not intuitively obvious how to use you must put the settings you want in place before paying or you lose your coins! The hotel is combined with an assisted living which is interesting and feels like it works well. Will definitely come back if returning to Bonn and next time would try and get a room that is on the garden. Highly recommend

We were in Bonn for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the city! Our stay at Hotel Collegium Leoninum certainly contributed to that. Extensive facilities and a very convenient location to the center. Parking garage (with favorable rate) across the street. Very friendly, professional and welcoming staff. The combination of hotel and homes or departments for the elderly was very nice and an advantage for both 'parties'. In short: as far as we are concerned, worth repeating.

The Collegium leoninum is a good hotel near the centre of Bonn. The Christmas market was about five minutes walk away. It is located in a somewhat quiet street and right in front of a cheap parking garage. The welcome was friendly and the check-in went very smoothly. The room was already ready on our arrival at 2.30pm. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space. The beds slept reasonably well. Our room had a small balcony overlooking a courtyard garden. There is also a swimming pool but we have not used it. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in the room. The hotel is located in a senior complex but we have not experienced this as disturbing at all. In the complex are also a restaurant and a chapel and it consists of a new and an old part. Breakfast is extensive and is in a separate room. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I used to travel here often to visit somebody who lived in the care home section. The rooms are wonderful and spacious, and the staff are very accomodating, and we always appreciate the small packet of haribo's on the bed! The swimming pool is always fun, and it is usually quite empty, which is very good! The breakfasts there are always delicious, and so are the other meals. For dinner, I reccomend the wiener schnitzel! They are a prime example of how to mix a care home and a hotel, as they are well separated. It is also very close to the center of town, but you do not have too much noise from the streets below. In conclusion, I highly reccomend this hotel, and I cannot wait to stay here again!

For three nights we stayed at the Collegium Leoninum. We had a standard room with terrace facing the courtyard. It was very quiet and the room well decorated. We were happy about the possibility to prepare coffee in the room. The beds were very comfortable. Super is the swimming pool. The friendly staff at the reception and the breakfast service were particularly commendable. We only had difficulties finding a parking space in the opposite parking garage. But it worked with some patience and the parking garage is very inexpensive.

A pleasant discovery in all ways. First the location only 5min walk from the main train station and at the edge of the historical centre. Second, the charm of the historical building and inner court yard and clean, large rooms. Lastly the service was excellent. The hotel functions both an assisted living residence and hotel which is unusual but did not otherwise bother me at all. Corridors are generally empty and peaceful.

My experience with the Leoninum is quited mixed. The hotel is located very close to the city center in a former monastry. The concept of the Leoninum is that a hotel is shared with a home for the aged. The rooms are designed to serve both functions. You should be prepared to have strange encounters in the elevator when you arrive late at night. My booking was not in the system when I arrived, but I got room. Unfortunately, I accidentally activated the heating in the bath-room so I did not have a very pleasant night. The service is ok, I did not have a breakfast, so i cannot judge about it.
