I stayed two nights at the Hotel Santo. The single room I had was small, but perfect for me. The room included many amenities, such as a mini-bar, TV a desk, good lighting and a large bathroom. The hotel's style is very modern. The breakfast is fully stocked with a wide variety of fresh foods and is excellent. I stayed...

We had stayed here before about 4 years ago and loved it and were somewhat puzzled at some negative reviews. We ignored these and we were glad we did. We arrived early and despite being 4 hours before official check in time, the staff promptly offered to free up a room as my wife was feeling ill, this was so...

After reading the latest review on trip advisor, I was a little aprehensive about staying here. However, I can honestly say that the hotel was very good. The rooms extremely clean and well furnished. The bathroom was plenty big enough with rails for the towels and a big shower. One reviewer said that there was no air conditioning in the...

Arrived in Cologne for a 4 night stay and got a taxi from the Station to the hotel which cost five euro, the hotel is near to the station but because it was evening time I didnt want to waste any more time looking for the hotel, however thereafter we walked into the centre of Cologne which was really easy...

I chose this hotel according to the reviews on tripadvisor, but i was very disappointed. The room was very impersonal and cold. I have never been in such a cold room before. I also understood from the reviews that the hotel was close to the city center, but it took about 20 min. to walk and to drive to the...

+ A bit of creativity in design + The place itself is quiet, almost no tourists. - It's not really far from the train station, but the direction is opposite to all sights of this place. - Receptionist wasn't as friendly as she could be

I really liked this hotel. It is in a quiet place and very near to the central station. The rooms are clean and of moden style. The staff was a bit cold but did the job. The breakfast in morning is ok. Since the location is very central, it is very convenient for tourists. I will recommend this hotel to...

Stayed here in August. Paid 90 euros per night (maybe high-season in Germany in August??) Maybe. Reviews and pics look fantastic but... - Area is close to the Hauptbahnhof but 10-minutes away walking in a pretty isolated area. There is nothing around so it is a pain to walk to the center. If I am in a pedestrian-friendly and calm...

A group of four friends share two twin rooms in August. The hotel staff is very friendly and was able to solve our questions. Big drawback: no air conditioning, so during the summer days we stayed, it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in the heat, as opening the window did not solve much. The room is OK, although there...

I spent two nights at The Santo Hotel in Cologne, after my partner decided to whisk me away on a city break for my birthday. The hotel is very easily accessible from Cologne/Bonn International Airport, taking around 20 mins by train to Cologne Central Station, followed by a short walk of around 5-10 mins. The train from the airport costs...
