Had no choice but to stay in this place. Room is dark, small, loud....a rip off @200 euros a night because of a convention Without breakfast. Not very close to train station, although advertised as such...

I stayed here for the night on a layover and found it surpringly clean and modern! There are only 18 rooms and 6 floors so it's very quiet. FYI it's a 50 euro/15 minute round-trip from the airport so factor that in, you may find something at the airport for the same price.

Lovely family run hotel, located on a busy road but no issues with noise. 10 min max walk to the centre. Decided to park at hotel which is right next door and you are given a key fob to operate the barrier. Small car park but seems secure. Room was very recently refurbed as everything was new and fresh, good...

Gave us a fan to use because we had trouble sleeping in the heat, 2 free water bottles (0.5L), we loved the fridge were we could put our drinks in, the bed was grand and great and the employees working the receptionist area were extremely friendly with us.

I stayed at Hotel Famosa for one night in March 2015. I arrived late by plane at Düsseldorf Airport and searched for accomodation close to the railway station. Hotel Famosa was inexpensive and surprisingly good. The area close to the railway station is not very nice, but the hotel has nice interior. Room was large, clean and had TV and...

The hotel is in 2 houses, in the first you have the reception befor you enter the part with the rooms. The room it self is large and the bath room is good. There is a good wifi and several grocery shops in the area.

Firstly the location is good, on a main road, easy to find and only 10 mins walk from Düsseldorf Central Station. The receptionist was warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean smart and a decent size with a modern en-suite. The bed was super comfy and the room was very quiet so I had a very sound sleep....

The window was broken (could not close) and the noise was unbearable all night, but the staff did nothing. They did not give us another room, and next morning the lady at the reception was making fool of us saying "we will fix it some day" and "do you want to buy another room?" I said to her that I...

It was our second stay at this place. Everything is very clean. The owners and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to the central station (about 10 - 15 min). You receive more than you pay.
