I visited Dusseldorf in April. You can't get more central than this. Literally 2 minutes walk from the mainline station, and restaurant areas it's ideally located if you need to travel and want access to the train lines/airports without too much fuss. The hotel provides you with included wi-fi access and despite many people whinging about the speed it is...

The Bahn-Hotel location is really comfortable and close to all necessary things, not far away Asian district. I am not fully enjoyed staying in this hotel - the bathroom was really old and looks untidy, the bath tap was broken, breakfast was not included. But room was big enough and pretty clean

Two reasons for staying here: First, one can observe first-hand 1960-1970's post war hotel construction. It is today like it was then. Today, however one also experiences chipped paint, damaged furniture, sewer gas wafting from the seldom-used bidet, and super-firm beds. The sound-insulated windows though do provide ample protection from street noise. The one saving grace is helpful desk clerks...

Hotel really did the job. Stayed here as we were over for a match in Dortmund and like the nightlife in Dusseldorf. Hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the main station: Come out the front second turning on the right and there it is. The hotel appears to be run by a Chinese family and they are really...

I visited with friends for a football match in nearby Monchengladbach and chose this hotel because rates were reasonable and it's near the station. The welcome was polite and helpful, the receptionist spoke good English. We had 1 double room and 3 singles. I got the double because I had driven from Manchester - it was clean and spacious. The...

I picked this hotel because of its location. It is really only 2 minutes from the railway station. If you are dropped off by a car, you'll need a bit of luck because there is not much parking space in front of the hotel. The room was clean and I slept well.

So, here is the up side of this hotel - it is located a very short walk from the train station, it's cheap and I found it basically clean. Everything else about the place is mediocre. The oddest thing is you don't get a room key. The "guy" behind the counter let me in every time - a first for...

Boring and unmodern, impersonal and grey. It's not a bad hotel but I wouldn't warmly recommend it. The cleaning was okay and if you really want to stay close to the train station (not a very nice neighbourhood) the location is good, but you can get much more for the money than this.
