On the positive side the hotel has a reasonable location, good parking, a decent albeit expensive breakfast (17 euros), staff who want to please, and a reasonably equipped room (with Ikea-like furniture). However a few flaws really hurt this hotel's performance: 1) depending on who you get at the front desk, the staff are either very knowledgable or clueless about...

We stayed here for one night while touring the Rhine Valley area by car. This is a lovely hotel. We had a spacious room on the fifth floor with a large picture window providng a view of the river, the cable cars to the fort, and the city. Our room was clean and comfortable. It is a fairly short walk...

We had to stay for a work/ pleasure related stay. Rooms were clean modern , new and comfortable . The hotel is close to the river and several central locations , you can chose to walk around for sight seeing and so forth. The breakfast was lavish , wonderful desserts as well. Worth it!

We used this hotel as a base in Koblenz from where to vist the middle Rhine area as we did not want to be stuck on a boat for a week! Koblenz is very flat so it was an easy 15 minute walk to the station from where you can take the train to almost anywhere! (if your feet ache...

I decided to go visit the city of Koblenz with my family (2 adults and 3 children) on short notice and looked for a one night stay there. We are used to the cheaper ACCOR group hotels like IBIS and Etap but their rules didn't allow to accomodate as many children (in two rooms). So we decided to pay an...

We stayed here in the middle of May, originally wishing to stay in Heidelberg, we stayed at this hotel in Koblenz after being recommened by my parents who had stayed here years earlier. We had an adjoining room, room for myself and wife and a room for our son, the views even from the 5th floor were superb, service was...

Arriving direct from Australia meant 8amish at reception after a 15 minute walk from the train station done deliberately to geta sense of the area. Staff were exceptionally helpful is arranging for a beautiful room overlooking the Rhine (as my room was not yet available) & which I stayed in for my 7 nights in Koblenz. Throughout my stay ALL...

My husband and I stayed at Mecure in May 2012 for 1 night. It is clean and modern and good value for Eur92 for 1 night on an advance rate on the hotels website. Check-in was functional and business like .However, if you intend to use Koblenz as a base and use trains to tour the other Rhine villages, the...

Good location. Friendly staff reception. Clean room. Considering the price though (126 € double room), it should include free internet. Very expensive breakfast (17€). Poor food in the restaurant.

I stayed in one of the privilege rooms on the top floor. And the room, especially the bathrooms, was in urgent need of a facelift. The service was unreliable. Considering the steep price I cannot recommend this hotel.
