The hotel is located very close to the railway station, which is the main transport hub in the city. The location is not very scenic, however. The rooms are nice and the service was very friendly. i also liked the breakfast. The free WiFi was quite sluggish, though.

Not nice people in front desk, they don't explain you anything. Never got the transport card. Not even 1 free table for breakfast, people in restaurant didnt help at all, they started cleaning the table while i was already there having breakfast. Room was confortable and bed was fine. The best thing is the station is just 5 minutes away...

We chose this hotel because it offered easy train station access for our journey to the Frankfurt airport. Upon arrival at the Mainz train station there was one sign for this hotel but no further signage and it was not obvious which way to go, even though it was only about a 2-minute walk. I suggest calling the hotel for...

The Intercity Hotel Mainz is only a few minutes walk from the main train station in Mainz, close to a busy bus stop. The rooms are clean and the furnishings and bathroom (shower only) are new. There is a safe for valuables and a small bar fridge stocked with drinks. The hotel restaurant offers typical German cuisine from the area,...

Clean and tidy with rooms that are suited for business travellers, less so geared for tourists, not much going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel however it's a short walk to city centre, ok value

We were their just for 1 day though, but we didn't get good friendly experiences as expected in reputed hotels. Room was OK, I must admit there was everything. It's near train and bus station. Just across the street. If one don't bother about services or expect something it's good to stay because we do not have any problems though....

Staff is excellent. Near to station connects you effectively. Hypermarkets proximity make it more handy. And at nice walk you get the street of all kind of cuisines. Five star to the hotel. Cheers !!!!

The hotel is not in the best area, but not far from the centre, near the train station. There is a problem with a parking if you are with a roof trunk, because parking is underground. The hotel is clean, in a calm area. The rooms are quite spacious, very clean and comfortable. All in all - the hotel is...

InterCIty Hotels are always handy to the railway stations, as is this one just behind the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) in Mainz. Reception and restaurant staff are very courteous, speaking fluently in either German or English. We paid extra for the buffet breakfast, which offers a great selection of hot items, with a variety of fresh breads and pastries, fruit,...

This hotel was solidly ok. Clean room, convenient location, helpful staff. The wifi is insanely slow and it's not easy to figure out how to upgrade. Seriously it is slower here in a hotel in Germany than the wifi I have at home in Maputo. The beds are also just okay; by the end of one night I was frankly...

The location provides ideal connections not only to the city centre but also to the nearby cities of Wiesbaden and Frankfurt via the A60 motorway and train connections from the doorstep of the hotel.
