If you're visiting the oldest city in Germany this is the place you MUST stay... the service, perfect! The food at their wonderful restaurant, perfect, and their choice of breakfast foods, perfect... close to many attractions within walking distance!.. they are under construction building more onto their hotel, but don't let that stop your booking... it's well worth it.. we...

We were in Trier in March sightseeing and were smart enough to book Villa Hugel! What a pleasure it was to stay there. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. We flew into Luxembourg and they sent a taxi to pick us up. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was very nice-comfort room-by the indoor pool. They...

Great little hotel in Trier. Amazing view, close enough to the center of Trier. Free parking. Big rooms, swimming pool and an amazing breakfast. Only drawback there is no elevator. Highly recommended.

The hotel is based on what was a former wine merchant's villa in a suburb of Trier. The villa has been extended over the years and is still being extended - works which we warned of when we phoned to make the reservation. It's a 10 minute walk to the edge of the centre and a further 10 minutes to...

Our rooms were lovely but in the lower part of the hotel so we had to carry our suitcases down the stairs. They were doing a lot of construction which meant parking at the bottom of the hill. The location was not very convenient. However, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful....

This hotel is excellent in many ways and it is obvious that they go to a lot of trouble to make it look exceptional. Our room, Muncheon, was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It was quite a good size and the ensuite was also quite spacious, with two hand basins. The heated towel rail was very much appreciated. It was...

We arrived just before Easter weekend, the multilingual staff were fabulous and the young woman showed us round the hotel and explained where everything was- a real personal touch. This is also shown as the rooms don't have numbers but names instead. We were in Heidelberg which was great. Spacious room with a comfy mattress. Very clean. We spent the...

Great little hotel with excellent service. Nice quiet atmosphere, superb food all at acceptable prices. Located close to the city center. Although I was there for work, it felt like a little vacation. A staff who quietly but effectively and smiling satisfied all wishes almost before they were made. I will definitely come again

Stayed here for one night in the Munich and Berlin rooms with my husband and two teenage daughters. It's a charming place with friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are well appointed with lovely views. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast equally so. Sipping a wine or two on the terrace was just lovely. It's a short walk into town. Would recommend...

The main issue I have with this hotel is the massive construction they are doing. They are building a new wing and making pavement in front of the hotel. This was a very bad surprise when we arrived. The construction noise started at 8am. They should clearly advertise about this. This clearly was not known to us. The hotel is...
