One of the best "IBIS" which stayed. Quality of sleeping, service, breakfast, etc. all the best. Very helpful and friendly personnel. Parking - 6 Euro/day - 50 meters from the hotel. Shopping city center. Dresden monuments - short walk. I sincerely recommend, specially that is not so expensive.

Nice room, not too large, not too small. Bathroom was a little cramped but it was clean and that was more important. Good location, close to the central station the old town is just a walk away. walk past the old town for about 15-20 minutes and you reach the iconic "Frauenkirche". In all a good experience.

Ibis hotels are basic rooms. Clean rooms with a good breakfast that you pay for. The front desk staff needs some addition training regarding customer service. Requested pillows several times but desk staff was annoyed that he had to get them for me.

The hotel is the same standard as all hotels in the world, but we were didn't receive a good tratment from any of the four attendants on the reception, in different time and moments. They didn't care about our necessities even before we talk about them. In Germany we stayed in 5 different cities. Dresden was the only city where...

We have stayed at this hotel, every year, for at least ten years. It is clean, the staff is friendly but management made some changes that we are not happy with. The Koenigstein is part of three hotels (Bastei and Lilienstein) and the Koenigstein maintained, for the guests of all three hotels, a restaurant that was open in the evening...

So 3 massive hotel blocks next to each other 5 minutes from old town and 5 mins to station , good location . Rooms basic but ok usual budget rooms clean and modern. Downside the hotel was massive , 10 floors (in each tower) and with 2 on reception it was not enough . long queues and people pushing in...

Very pleasant and comfortable stay. Most reliable hotel, year in, year out, having stayed here many times from well before Ibis days. First stay was 1972. Much more modern now of course and staff are always friendly (at least since 1996)!

I've stayed in many ibis hotels and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately this is the worst. Room is as expected altho with a single duvet cover on a double bed! The WiFi (a basic necessity for travelers in a foreign county) is appalling. A free 1 hour option only in the lobby which was used for 5 mins before going...

The people on the desk were very helpful and friendly especially with where to park the car. We were expecting a normal room but we were given a suite instead. It was lovely and had plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great. We could easily walk to what we wanted to see, especially the Zwinger.

This is an Ibis hotel and so is a budget hotel. The great thing is that it is right in the middle of the Prager Strasse and quite close to the central station as well. But...and there are several, the beds are HARD, the amenities are sparse and there is NO free wifi in the rooms. I realise this is...
