Aparthotel am Schloss was the perfect place for us to spend a night in Dresden. The location could not have been any better - in the middle of the city, making for a short walk to all of the sights & shopping. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

The attic appartement was perfect – near the opera, Zwinger etc. Very calm, clean, little kitchen, all one can need. Reception staff helpful. There is no breakfest but many caffe nearby and coffemaker in the room. Dishwasher and washmachine.

Stayed here in two rooms as a family of four. Not only is the location excellent (between castle and Frauenkirche) and the rooms are spacious and quiet (2xx) - the studios were equipped with everything including washing machine, dishwasher etc., the rates are more than reasonable - and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When back in Dresden, I won't...

Really terrific facilities in the room. A really good place for an overnight stop or a long self-catering break. Great central location. Staff were very charming and efficient. Underground parking available but pricey.

We just stayed at the hotel during the Dresden Christmas Market. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Frauenkirche, 10 minutes from the Semper Opera House, and everything else in the old part of the city. The staff is great, fun, and helpful! If I had to complain about anything it would be the walk to the breakfast...

When we arrived, we were offered room 304. The stench was disgusting. Previous reviews have referred to this problem We finished up in room 106. The first night, we discovered that due to a faulty sensor, the lights in the corridor did not work so we had to walk to the lift in darkness. We reported this to reception who...

Perfectly located in the Old Town: close to main attractions and the riverfront, yet it was very quiet here, even in the middle of a large street festival. Large comfortable room, with kitchenette (has all equipment needed if you wished to self-cater). Good shower cubicle so easy to access for all ages/abilities. Also washer dryer in bathroom. As these are...

You can't do much better than this. Right in the middle of Dresden's cluster of rebuilt architectural masterpieces, this apart hotel is stylish, extremely clean and (amazingly) quiet. Location can't be bettered; rooms are huge; staff are friendly and attentive. Wi-fi is free. If you wanted to find a negative, you'd have to look very hard. And why would you?
