When your arrival in a city for a couple of nights commences on Christmas Day after several hours of train travel (from Berlin), you focus on location first, and this place is so very close to the railway station it's brilliant . . . particularly if it's raining when you arrive and you really just want to get out of...

A really cosy hotel with a good breakfast suitable for people with strong legs. Placed in walking distance from Altstadt and a stones throw from the railway. Most rooms are accessed via stairs so not for wheelchairs or small children. No parking facilities but Street parking and garages close by.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Location: it is easy to reach as it is situated opposite the train station and main bus station. If you come by car there is free parking available in front of the hotel. Lübeck's old town is in walking distance, approx. 10min to Holstentor (easy walk). There are some bakeries and little restaurants/take-away...

I return to this hotel every time I am in Lubeck. The staff is congenial, and the reasonably priced room is super clean with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom where everything functions beautifully. My room in the back was quiet with a lovely view of greenery and landmark architecture. The buffet breakfast is varied and healthy--possibly the best...

Upon arrival we were welcomed by a receptionist, who immediately moved his car from the street parking, so we could get the parking spot. What a service! Then quick check in, and we got our room, nice, clean and with all facilities we need. Then 5 min. walk to the city center - so perfect location. Quiet during the night,...

Clean, silent, good bec and shower, close to downtown, internet works and friendly people. Room was large and affordable. Breakfast done with friendly touch. parking might be challenge, but we hot a spot. Even noise of street and bus station across the road was no problem.

Good hotel two minutes from rail and bus stations without some of the lesser side of hotels near some stations. Reception efficient and helpful. Really good single room, comfortable, clean and warm. Very good breakfast and the atmosphere night like with candles being lit on the tables contrasting the morning outside darkness. Only thing I'd like is tea/coffee facilities in...

Hotel was across the road from the main bus station and 4 minutes walk from the train station. Looked a bit old from the outside but the rooms were all freshly refurbished. No elevator but otherwise good. Included breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Staff was able to quickly and happily direct me to a bus for an area that...

“Ask for one at the back away from the bus station. If you are not good at stairs ask for one on the lower floor as there are no lifts,”

“Get a room at the first floor. Lack of lifts, narrow stairs and temperature increasing with higher floors make a room on the third or fourth floor less attractive.”
