We were there the night of April 6, appreciated the help of the staff and very much enjoyed the excellent location just a few minutes from the Mezquita. Walking the semi-deserted streets near the hotel in the early morning before the crowds came was magical.

From the moment we arrived and the staff welcomed us into this amazing old building, with original features and antique furniture in the reception and sympathetic rooms with all 21st century amenities it felt wonderful. Homely touches like water in jugs in the reception, quality toiletries marked this hotel out as above average. We took a car, which I would not...

The Hotel is a group of five houses adjoined by several patios or courtyards. Hotel ambience and decor is beautiful and very clean. Guests will be pleased to know that they are centrally located and very, very close to several historic sites Mosque-Catedral, Alcazar, Sephardic Museum, Puente Roman and many others. The Hotel Breakfast is good. Excellent yogurt, selection of...

A characterful hotel cleverly arranged around the courtyards of several converted houses in the old Jewish quarter, just a short distance from the Mezquita. Generously proportioned rooms, all different, well furnished and equipped. Delightful to be able to sit and read by a fountain just outside your room and have a glass or two of manzanilla from the honesty bar....

After travelling from Madrid by train, it was a short taxi ride in the early afternoon to check-in at this beautiful hotel, where we stayed for one night. The hotel is very well-maintained and has professional, accommodating staff. We stayed in a penthouse room, which offered lovely views in three directions (including toward the Mezquita -- we could hear see...

Staff were professional and friendly. Room we had was big enough although the toilet cubicle was particularly small. It would be a problem for a particularly large person. The pool was lovely, but the sun-loungers rather uncomfortable. There isn't really a bar, which would have been a nice addition (the honesty system in the front room felt odd and it...

The Casas de la Juderia was created from a venerable private residential compound -- almost like living in a museum. The appliances are modern while the balconies, gardens, etc. are thoroughly old world. The location is great if you want to wake-up in the center of the tourist area or annoying when you wade into large tourist groups forming-up for...

Great location in the Juderia, close to all of the major attractions in Cordoba. Beautiful gardens and nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good too. Friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a fabulous choice in Cordoba. It is literally five minutes or less walking to the Alcazar, the royal stables, the Mesquita and the Jewish quarter. There are many restaurants and shops also within a 5 minute walk. Originally, a series of fancy houses for various wealthy families, the several adjoining properties were converted to a hotel, while...

This hotel is a lovely historic hotel conveniently located in the center of the town. And yes, as others have mentioned, some of the rooms tend to be dark and windowless. That's because the hotel is built in an historic palace which did not have that many windows in the Middle Ages. However, my room had two French glass doors...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Las Casas de la Juderia Hotel in Cordoba boasts a privileged setting as it opens its doors to overlook the Jewish Quarter, the Xth century Caliphate’s Baths, in the garden of Campo Santo de los Martires, right in front of the hotel; and in the same area, there are the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos (Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs), the Royal Mews and just 200 metres away, the Great Mosque of Cordoba. The history and architecture of the building have been strictly respected in its restoration into a hotel. The outcome has been an especially charming hotel with all the facilities and services demanded by today’s traveller in a really beautiful setting where to enjoy peace and quiet. ... more   less
