Very good. Beautiful open courtyard to sit in with orange trees. Breakfast very good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The position of the hotel could not be better, just a moment away from the Mosque.

This is a lovely little hotel conveniently situated on a quiet street steps from the Mezquita. The moment you step into the former convent you know you are in a special place. The welcoming is professional, yet warm, and they can't do enough to help you. The common areas are lovely and well kept. Our nicely sized and comfortable room... More

Stayed for 2 nights at Balcon de Cordoba. Lovely 10 room hotel in the old town. Literally steps to the cathedral. the rooms are very quiet and taking some time sitting in the courtyard was wonderful. The staff is very helpful. Loved breakfast, in particular, scrambled eggs with cheese ( and bacon for my husband).

We stayed here only one night but it was wonderful. The location is convenient to everything. We were able to walk to the Mezquita at 8:30am after a really nice breakfast at the hotel, and toured inside before the huge crowd showed up. The room was tastefully decorated and bed was very comfortable. The best sleep we had during our... More

Yes, it really is that good. Very quiet, with an unbeatable location on a crazy narrow street. The rooms are impeccable and the bathrooms are roomy. We stayed with two grown sons. The restaurant service and the view from the upstairs balcony are both oustanding as well. Lovely breakfasts, more varied than many Andalusian hotels. There's even a back door... More

We have been fortunate to stay at some lovely hotels on our trip to Southern Spain but this one in a former convent is special. It has only ten rooms around a patio with a gurgling fountain, it beautifully restored with authentic local elements like tile, rock patio designs, marble, and pieces from the original house. Very modern comfortable rooms... More

The hotel's location is unbeatable. It is a less than a block away from the Mezquita right in the centre of town. Once you step in you realise that it is an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the action. Beautifully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the city from the balcony and a superb staff. I recommend the... More

Beautiful attention to detail and quality throughout. Comfortable bed, bathroom well equipped a good introduction to the antiquity of Andalusia. Close to the mezquita. Helpful staff suggested great restaurants. Breakfast was delicious too.

this is a tiny hotel (10 rooms) but a lovely spot to spend a couple of nights. It has a wonderfully peaceful feel with a lovely, serene foyer. Our room was small but very clean. Despite its proximity to La Mezquita, it was remarkably quiet. The staff are fantastic; amazingly attentive and helpful. Breakfasts are very good and we had... More

Our stay at Balcon Cordoba was 3 nights of heaven! The staff is so warm and welcoming - nothing is too much to ask of them. They recommended several Italian restaurants ( when we had finally OD'ed on tapas) and made reservations for dining and for the horse show. We had the room with the rooftop terrace with a queen...
