I have to say I'm surprised by how positive the reviews are for this hotel on Tripadvisor. I would advise staying elsewhere. Many people have commented on the hotel's excellent location - yes, it is directly opposite the eastern facade of the Mezquita and coveniently within walking distance of the major sites. However, the walls of the Mezquita are positively... More

Best location in Cordoba. Underground car parking great. Reception staff excellent , very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a good size with a very clean & modern marble bathroom. Decent size beds, with large windows overlooking the Mosque which was beautiful. Breakfast was good, the usual cheeses, hams scrambled eggs, yogurts pastries etc... Dinner was awful, starters very nice... More

The first impression was stunning as we had a view of the side of one of the Mesquita's beautifully ornate doors that was literally 10 meters from our window. The staff were efficient and friendly, the room and the bathroom wera decently sized, airconditioning worked, the bed comfortable, housekeeping good, free wifi was available in the lobby, the rooms were... Great location with adequate rooms and nice outside courtyard. Most of the staff very helpful and pleasant with notable exception of the dining room staff who were unhelpful bordering on surly.Breakfast was rather poor and would not bother with this if we ever stayed again. Bar closed at 1030 - amazing for Andalucia! Valet parking a real help but could... More

As others have said this hotel is in a great location, in the old town. The car park is a bonus and check in was fine. The rooms are compact and the view was of another room opposite. The corridors are tiled, so the noise of guests coming and going can be disturbing. The room and bathroom were very clean... More

This hotel must have the best location in Cordoba. Step outside and you are facing the beautiful Mezquita and you are in the very heart of the town. However, we had a twin room on the ground floor which was slightly disappointing. It was in a corridor where the busy (and occasionally noisy) kitchens were and there was no view... More

The Conquistador occupies an excellent position right next door to the Mezquita in the old part of Cordoba. The whole area is tremedously atmospheric, and the Hotel fits perfectly with the surroundings and offers good accomodation in compact rooms ( if you are American, they are a shoe box, for Brits they are fine and compact. Bathroom is good but again... More

Our stay was for two nights in early February and we were delighted with the location of the hotel - it was ideally situated to visit most of the typical tourist attractions and literally a few paces from the Mezquita. The check-in procedure was very efficient and they obliged when we requested a room with a view. Perhaps the only... More
