On first appearances the Hotel Mesquita was very nice..a few gripes like the single bolster pillow with no other available and the shower head hanging from its screw on the wall could have been overlooked if it hadnt been for the noise..noise from the cafe below, from streetcleaners, from refuse collectors and even the staff in the hotel on changeover...

Your score 8.3 Location was ideal, virtually across the street from La Mezquita exterior wall. I would go back for the proximity for this compound of historic buildings. We were given a room with four twin beds, for a married couple, inconvenient, but more importantly none of the beds were comfortable. All the mattresses seemed quite hard. I realize this...

If your main goal in Cordoba is to visit the Mezquita, this place is perfect. La Mezquita is quite literally across from this hotel. The perfect location as there is also an outside cafe that catches the free wi-fi signals from the hotel (hotel will provide password). There are also a ton of restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing all within walking...

Firstly the pros are location, atmosphere, cleanliness, helpful staff and price. Yes the room we had was small but the sofas in the lobby areas were great places to relax when we needed. We took the number three bus from the Renfe Estate on and that delivers you to within 300 metres of the Mezquita. Location made early starts for...

We were only there for one night but we really liked this hotel. The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. We had a few hours before our cab arrived to take us to the train station...that they arranged. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel so that we could see...

We had very large corner room on the first floor. Faced the Mesquite and the square. Staff was friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, room very clean. A good buffet breakfast with lots of choices. The location of this hotel is perfect!

Loved the location and our corner room (#4) with two balconies overlooking the Plaza Santa Catalina and the gate into La Mezquita. The hotel is in an old mansion and the decor is beautiful. No lift, which was no problem for us, but might be for others. If you are driving to Hotel Mezquita, research the route to the hotel...

I arrived at his hotel with expectations that were perhaps too high, but I will say that they weren't exactly met. The hotel seemed clean enough and the staff was welcoming. The location was also, of course, great. Overall, I think the hotel was average, though. It did the job for one quick night, but I wasn't impressed by the...

Despite asking for a quiet room we were placed in room 8 just above the square which was noisy. On a positive note the room was very clean and the shower amazing. Close to all tourist attractions. Staff at reception helpful
