I didn't make a reservation before arriving because from some of the reviews there was some doubt in my mind as to whether it was a good idea to do so for longish stays just in case I didn't like the place. This proved to be a mistake since when we arrived all the standard rooms had been taken, the...

Cadiz is a wonderful, small city providing affordable winter sun and Hotel Argantonio is the perfect base to explore it from. Romantic ambience, friendly staff, spotless rooms and delicious breakfast. What a lucky find. We will be back!

You can walk everywhere from this central location in Cadiz, but its courtyard style means all the rooms are off a central atrium. Be aware that it can be noisy from the bar area and lobby. The colorful tiles give the hotel its Moorish atmosphere. Parking available in a garage across the street, but it's a tight squeeze. Buffet breakfast...

An old Moorish courtyard style building in the heart of old Cadiz means it can get noisy! Having said that the location is excellent as you can walk everywhere in the old town. It has parking in an underground garage across Calle Argantonio, but it is a tight squeeze getting in and out as well getting your car into a...

A typical small, but mostly clean European hotel down a quiet "street." The room was fine, but the bathroom needed some cleaning. Breakfast was pleasant and provided enough options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel architecture was beautiful.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the pedestrian district of Cadiz. However you can drive your car to the front door in order to access the underground garage. The staff are really friendly and try their best to understand and speak English. The hotel is unique in that no two rooms are alike. All are originally decorated with...

The hotel is well located and near the train and bus station, restaurants, and shopping. Our balcony room was rather small and fairly dark, but the beds were comfortable. There are few outlets in the room and no safe. The breakfast buffet was varied and filling. There was a fair amount of noise coming from the small, quiet street below,...

My wife and I were traveling with two friends and booked the apartment at the Hotel Argantonio during our short stay in Cadiz. It is a very nice hotel, and close to the Cathedral and the shops and restaurants in the old port. We were warmly welcomed at the time of check-in, and noticed that a Flamenco performance was happening...

We were a bit frazzled by the time we arrived in Cadiz as we got lost on the way there.Once we arrived at the hotel and the ladies at reception saw the tense state of my other half ,who'd driven up from Malaga and was exhausted, they offered him a cup of coffee immediately! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.They...

My partner and I stayed here in September and I wish we had read some of the other reviews before booking. The room was small but at least it was clean. the 'balcony' was no more than a foot or two in width and the terrace was under construction so there was nowhere to sit and relax. Construction was underway from...
