If you're staying in Cadiz, then the Argantonio is quite simply the best located hotel in the city. In the heart of the old town, close to the harbour, yards from the premier shopping area, but also situated in a quiet side street. The hotel is a tall 19th century house with a beautiful interior designed with Arabic influences. The...

What a lovely and quaint hotel bang in old town of Cadiz. The rooms were very comfortable and quirky and the staff where more than friendly. The breakfast was great and the mix and match of plates and tables gave this hotel a unique feature. Great value for money with a very friendly bunch to go with it. Great coffee...

We visited Cádiz for a couple of nights whilst staying with friends in Seville in June. We chose Hotel Argantonio because of the good reviews on trip advisor and it certainly did not disappoint! The location was superb - very central in the Old Town and only a few minutes walk from just about everything. The mix of Arabic and...

This was an really lovely hotel - the decor is just delightful, and the staff were probably the friendliest we encountered in six hotels when we were travelling around Andalucia recently. We would definitely stay there again - if only for the candlelit hallway and stairs on our return to the hotel of an evening. Absolutely CHARMING!

Beautiful hotel right located conveniently right in the centre of Cadiz. The staff were very helpful and courteous and recommended some great restaurants. The hotel served a very good continental breakfast in the breakfast room and atrium. The rooms were big and spacious although some of the them have no external windows. We regretted not asking for one with a...

The staff were very pleasant and courteous, and the good thing - in one respect - about the hotel is its central location; you walk out of the door and you're straight in the middle of bustling narrow streets in the centre of Cadiz. However, this can make it noisy at night. Other than these two plus points, we have...

My family stayed at this hotel for two nights, plus an apartment they owned one night. The hotel was full when we arrived, they had the incorrect dates for our stay. They did their best to get us an apartment for the first night, and paid for our taxi ride over there. It pretty much killed our first day in Cadiz waiting to...

This hotel is a beautiful traditional Andalusian building. The reception area and bedrooms are gorgeous – not all mod cons because it is a traditional old building but so quaint and clean and lovely with nice bathrooms. Great location for exploring the old town and not far to walk to the beach either. The staff, two lovely ladies, were always...

Room cozy and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. The front desk recommended two restaurants within easy walking distance. We tried both and they were superb. Hotel decor is charming mudejar-style without being kitsch. Very clean. Relatively large bathroom with excellent shower. Quiet: no noise from other guests. Continental breakfast plus cold cuts, coffee is fantastic. Great location within walking...

Due to a miscommunication (we share the blame), Hotel Argantonio thought my daughter was a small child and not a 25 year old adult. Thus, upon arrival - and after some surprised looks at my 'little girl', we were told that her bed would cost an extra 33 euros per night. So the cost went from what I considered very...
