Good value and I would stay again. Very central location in the old town. Helpful to have a washing machine. I used that and the fridge, didn't really use the cooker because there were so many places to eat out. The air conditioning was a bit ineffective. It worked but at a low level only. It was slightly cramped in the bedroom but easily enough for 1 person for 2 nights. If you were staying longer I think the lack of storage space would become a problem.

Casa De La Borrega (Or house of the sheep!) was a wonderful place to stay. We were contacted via WhatsApp the night before we travelled and as the reception is not staffed, someone came to meet us at a pre arranged time. We were told that if we needed anything during our stay we could use the contact number we had via WhatsApp. The apartment was spotless with plenty of space for all 4 of us. It felt luxurious and was lovely to escape the heat. The location couldn't have been better for anyone wanting to explore Estepona. We only had cabin baggage and were travelling light and so the lack of parking was fine. We parked in an underground car park on the front which was quite pricey but certainly walking distance. We later moved the car to a free car park on the outskirts of Estepona. There were lots of bars, cafes and restaurants extremely close. Graneria is a great recommendation for breakfast. Overall we had a wonderful trip and will certainly be booking again if we return to Estepona.

I've thought long and hard about giving this place a negative review. The situation is excellent and the general ambiance good. BUT I had booked the Royal Suite and on arrival, and when booked in by a quite negative person, my party was put into a different suite which was certainly not - by the pictures of the Royal Suite - anywhere near as spacious.Having got settled in we found there was no bedside light in one of the bedrooms. In the kitchen one plate and one mug were missing. I grant that I should have probably complained there and then, but as always when you are treating other people to something you don't want to make a fuss. Had there ever been any sign of the famous Cristina I would have mentioned it, but there was no sign of a living soul connected with the place during the entirety of our stay. There was nobody present when we left, so I was unable to mention our disappointment retrospectively I wrote when I got home to point out the various points mentioned above, and I can only say I was surprised and very disappointed by the response. NO REASON was given for not allocating me the apartment I had booked. NO APOLOGY was offered for the incomplete equipment - far from it. Such a shame. I visit Estepona every year and I'd picked out Casa de La Borrega twelve months ago as seeming absolutely ideal. Alas, it wasn't.

We spent two nights here. A nice welcome from the manager, she mentioned that work was taking place in the building next door and as such, we were shown an apartment a little bit further away from the noise, which was a nice touch. Although the refurbishment to the building next door was out of her control entirely, the noise was very audible during the daytime, making a siesta impossible. By the looks of it, the work will be ongoing for months. However, the apartment Huelva, was very clean and comfortable with nice comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It is ideally situated being in the heart of town and only a few minutes walk to the beach and promenade. We would stay again in the future.

From first contact to final goodbye, this was such a great experience and an extremely enjoyable stay... We first booked a double room, but since there was construction happening in back of the building, Cristina offered us an available quadruple in the front of the building. We opted for the more noisy double, as we didn't anticipate being bothered much by the noise. And while it was pretty loud during the day, we didn't mind, and I don't think we could have found a quieter place to sleep at night... My partner and I had both been needing to catch up on z's since arriving in Spain, and the comfort of the bed, the tranquility of the street, and the full blackout blinds helped us do so! We had an excellent stay and would definitely come back. Regarding parking, we found a lot only a few blocks away off of Avenida San Lorenzo near Calle Caravaca. It is a lot run by an organization that helps give jobs to and fund programs for handicapable people, and operates by suggested donation. It fills quickly because of this, but we got lucky with a great spot and only a pleasant 5 minute walk to the casa door. We really enjoyed our time in Estepona, and it's largely due to the hospitality and comfort we found at Casa de la Borrega!
