Not had a happy history, but this modest hotel has a great position, and now has new owners, the Hoteles Mare, which should see a rapid improvement. They are already in the process of renovating and modernising just about everything. Its great position? Just 2 minutes at a slow stroll from the Paseo Marítimo seafront promenade, which also means 2 minutes to a lovely beach and, of course, the prom leads onto the Senda Litoral Coastal Path with 5 or 6 miles of traffic-free walking. The beautiful Centro Historico with its gorgeous flowerpots is literally round the corner - your room may overlook it - and there are several dozen bars cafés and restaurants within a stone's throw. The rooms overloooking the Avenida San Lorenzo have a grandstand view of all the oricessions, the religious ones in Holy Week and the carnival-type ones in May, early January, etc. It deserves to do well. Just wait until the renovations are finished.

I think of all the hotels I have ever stayed in this is the worst. OK its central and inexpensive but it is truly awful. Unfriendly receptionist. The rooms are dreadful, paper-thin walls and we heard everything other guests were up to. Screaming babies to fornicating couples. The beds are so cheap and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are ridiculous, small and no amenities except a wall mounted soap dispenser. Even the toilet paper was an industrial dispenser. The bathrooms weren't clean with hairs everywhere. The breakfast was the worst ever. One bread roll allocated per person and one tea or coffee per person. After that you pay. We didn't bother. We were glad to check out and advise any guest who wants polite service, proper bed and breakfast to go elsewhere.

My first stay in a hotel in my more than dozen visit in Estepona (Malaga) Spain. Estepona for me is home away from home. I wasn’t disappointed and really glad I chose this centrally located 3 star hotel. It is few meters walk to the beach, plenty of dining and wining right outside the hotel. I was given large room with a view of the street or lovely alley with flowering plants on walls. Clean nice smelling room. Friendly staff at the reception, and the housekeepers. Breakfast not to expect much it is very basic.

Stayed here for two nights over the weekend and although a good price it's far from being a three star hotel. The rooms are pleasant enough with good a/c, lots of hot water and a bath if you want. The staff are all pleasant. What it lacks is a bar and a decent breakfast. One bread roll only, one coffee only and one orange juice only, if you want more of the above you pay. Therefore I suggest you dont pay for breakfast and go next door for a full english. The one good thing is the huge free carpark opposite. Dont be fooled by the fake parking attendants who will happily relieve you of several euros. Would I stay again, yes in 2 years time when the PinkPurpleZepFest 3 will be on. But I wont be paying for breakfast.

The nice thing about this hotel is its location. It is at the center of the town near the main plaza. The hotel is close to restaurants and shops. It is close to the beach with a long beach walk. Everything is walkable around town.
