Located in an elegant residential neighborhood just up from the eastern edge of Playa de le Caleta in Malaga, the Castillo de Santa Catalina provided the perfect opportunity to escape the modern world and step two centuries back in time. Arrival was somewhat tricky, being on a one-way, winding street but after a number of twists and turns our GPS...

We arrived quite late and the streets are narrow and steep around here. We found this big arch with the name of the hotel on it, drove underneath it and parked our car. We checking in and got assigned our room. In the top tower with a great and respectfully renovated room and bathroom. It was so beautiful to wake...

A little tricky to find but well worth it. Wind up a hill and you've a lovely old gentrleman's residence on the site of an old castle with ruins in the patio and great views. I choose this hotel to be a little out of town for peace and quiet, for its parking and history. We unfortunately arrived mcuh later...

We attended a wedding here and it was honestly the best wedding I've ever attended. The location is unreal, the food was unreal. The staff seemed very grumpy though. That was easy to ignore though. If you are getting married in Spain, check this place out! We did not stay over night here so I can't comment on the hotel...

Small, clean, quiet and beautiful hotel. Stunning views all around. Rooms are super large. You definitely need a car to get here, although it's a 10 min. walk to bus/beach. Center of town is a good 30 min walk. Good value for money. Breakfast is above average.

Everything about this hotel spells magical. The setting is out of an Arabian night's tale, I felt like a princess walking in my castle. Rooms are luxurious with the feel of an old fashioned grand hotel. Views from our suite of the Mediterranean, the mountains and Malaga, were breathtaking. The staff was super helpful and dedicated to making guests comfortable....

We stay there for one night and we get very nice spacious room with the huge terrace looking on Malaga gulf. Everything was perfect. The only small problem we got was the rumor coming from the basement made by some appliances. But staff was very nice and they've resolved the issue immediately. Good value for money,

Thank IggyMI
