I stayed at Venecia for a one night stop over before moving on. The location is great and in walking distance of Malaga's historical sights, restaurants, shops and cafes. It's also easily reached from the airport by bus or taxi (I paid 20 Euros for a taxi). I was also impressed with the wifi - it's free and fast. The...

I really had no idea what to expect of this hotel. I knew it was not going to be a luxury hotel but I couldn't really tell from the photos what the overall feeling would be. I was pleasantly surprised. True, this is no luxury hotel but I had a very spacious room with a very spacious and nice bathroom...

Stayed for 2 nights. First night was pretty horrific. Air-conditioning didn't work, bed was uncomfortable and small for 2 people, fairly uncomfortable too. Not the cleanest, scum in the bath and the tiles needed a good scrub! We raised the issue the next morning, not the most helpful response but eventually got moved to a twin room with a clean...

We stayed in the Venicia in mid January 2017 and the airport bus stopped right outside. This was an absolute perfect hotel to explore the old town of Malaga, the shopping area and the marina and botanical garden walk. We loved the location and the friendly staff, the hotel itself was old but very clean and tidy. Breakfast is in...

Very friendly lady at reception, I received a top floor room. The room was back-to-back with the old elevator, with electronic whizzing to be heard in the room every time it is used. Later at night I closed the bathroom door, which mysteriously locked behind me. I was for forced to move room in the middle of the night in...

Best location ever cross the road you are in ave de Larios Room was very clean , breakfast fine except not fresh orange juice which is disappointing , but at the price no complaints . I asked for a taxi to get me to Malaga airport , hotel told to walk to the end of the road , which wasn't...

Ideally placed hotel is right outside the airport bus stop and opposite the old town and next to Marian. However this hotel is right on a main road so traffic noise starts early. The most annoying thing are the pigeons who wake at 4am and restaurants opening up at 5am in the alleys surrounding the hotel. So over the 4...

This is a great location, steps away from everything and a taxi rank on the corner. The room is basic but It's clean which is all I really expect and want for this budget. Beds were big and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. My only slight concern was the lift that made some concerning noises and rattled!!...

We were very pleased with our choice of the Hotel Venecia in Malaga. The hotel was in a very central location with a host of great shops, restaurants and bars very nearby. It was also convenient having a bar/restaurant within the hotel which was staffed by people who were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely come back to this...

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Some great art work dotted round the building. Room was a good size with a fairly big bathroom. No view to speak off as it looked out onto a light well with air-conditioning units. No street noise but air-conditioning might be noisy in summer months. Used the café for coffee a couple of times...
