The hotel has own access to the beach with loungers - great 18 hole golf course and excellent little pitch and putt. The hotel is also well placed for a local Outlet centre and costal railway 10-15minutes from the centre of Malaga. We went in August 2019.
The worst experience with the catering service you had at Paradores. We had dinner completely in the dark and they did not offer us any alternative or solution, they took time to serve us, planes passing every minute with an unbearable noise (do not come to play golf, it is impossible). I summarize it by saying that it is a converted social center and in decline. It is not worth its price.
The hotel is resort-type, located near Airport Spacious rooms, an ideal place to stay and spend time with family, good space for kids to play around Good Connectivity. calm environment, seashore nearby
The pros: large rooms all with nice views. Excellent breakfast. Right on the beach (just be aware most of the adjoining beach is designated as a nude beach). Exceptionally clean and neat property. Historic golf course if that's your thing. Nice pool. The cons: fairly isolated to walk to anything else. Sits directly in the flight path of Malaga airport, which means a lot of airplane noise off and on. No gym or fitness center or spa. Whether this property is right for you depends on your particular needs.
Our plans changed due to the coronavirus...we changed our plane reservations and discovered to cancel our stay we had to do it +48 hours in advance......we were at 47 hours out. Seems to be out of step with other hotel chains. So we paid for a stay that we did not complete and then they send us survey about our stay! We have stayed at this hotel in the past and like it very much, so these ratings deal more with how they deal with loyal Amigo customers whose travel plans change. Given the location of the hotel near the Malaga Airport they would have no problem rebooking the room with 24 hours notice. Do these ratings reflect that ....not the quality of the hotel.
