This is your standard cheap hostal in Spain, small rooms with old décor but very clean and in a great location. The staff are absolutely useless and are not helpful in any way. (There was one staff member working on the day of the morning of the 27th who was lovely and very helpful. Not Spanish I think, unfortunately I...

Great location right in the city center but no breakfast included. Staff friendly but didn't speak too much English. Comfortable rooms but on the lower floors have A/C noise. We enjoyed our stay in Malaga and would happily stay in this hotel again.

The hostel is well located close to both the harbour and city centre. Room was spacious and clean, and located down a pedestrian road so no traffic noise. There was some noise from the bar on the street and bin men but nothing you wouldn't expect in such a location. Vending machine supplied in the reception area

This place is located just a few meters from the impressive cathedral of Málaga, one of the city´s main attracions. You will find a wide range of good resturants and bars in the neigbourhood, all though a bit on the pricy side probaly due to the amount of tourists in the district. The location is ideal for exploring the city...

Stayed here for a week at the edge of the old city, just a few metres from the main shopping street and minutes from a lot of the main tourist sites such as the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum etc. Many excellent restaurants and bars on your doorstep. A short walk from the harbour and beach, the Tourist Office...

This was our second stay in Hostal Victoria, chosen from reading Lonely Planet even though it is an old version! It just has to be the best place to stay in Malaga for easy access to all that you could possibly want. Accommodation is definitely basic but it is spotlessly clean. Just step outside and the city is on your...

This is an excellent, clean, warm, no frills, budget hostal right in the centre of Malaga. I stayed here last week and thought it might be a bit chilly in December but was pleasantly surprised to find there was also electric heating. Having stayed before in a room at the front of the building, this time I was given a...

This hotel is in an excellent location, just near the cathedral, it was spotlessly clean, and the staff were lovely and very patient with our lack of Spanish. It's not luxurious, but it's excellent value for money, and we'll definitely stay there again.

Booked this place for one night as we had to spend the day and evening in Malaga and wanted a base in the middle of town. I wish I had been able to stay, it is small and looks basic but really clean and friendly (odd sense of humour behind the desk but at least they have one). The location...

I stayed there at the begining of June of 2010. The location is perfect - no more than 15min. walking from all the places of attraction. Despite that hotel is in the very center of the city, it is in quiet place. The best choise for those who are enjoying city center or beach and need only a shower and...
