We chose Villa Lorena based on it's appearance as a small, friendly hotel. The impression was accurate, that's exactly what it is. Our room was clean, comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, safe, air-con, and terrace. We were warmly welcomed and given lots of useful recommendations for travel, restaurants, sights etc. Breakfast is typical, yogurt, nuts, honey,...

Wanted to find somewhere to stay that was not a typical standard hotel. This small hotel is located in an interesting part of Malaga where you will seldom come across a tourist as it is located in a suburb occupied by local folk. The hosts have put lots of thought into the hotel and as a result it is truly...

We arrived bedraggled after a 5 hour bus journey from Ubeda. Fren welcomed us into his luxurious, charming house, just what we needed. An absolutely wonderful oasis in the El Limonar area of Malaga. Enjoy the delicious breakfast freshly prepared by Fren and Jeroen - who makes excellent huevos revueltos. Then walk or use the bikes, which are very popular...

The hotel was situated in a quiet, very Spanish suburb of Malaga, about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. We met few other tourists whilst out in the area. There were bicycles available for guests to use which were great fun and useful! The hotel was spotless and breakfast excellent. Our hosts, Frens and Jeroen, were friendly and always...

Me and my wife stayed here in July for 9 nights. It was quite close to the beach. Around 10 minutes by walk and they also offer free bikes to borrow. My wife has problem with gluten and lactose so we were worried about her not getting to enjoy the hotel breakfast. But after having written to them they managed...

We stayed there 4 nights in the Suite on the 2 nd floor. Everything was perfect : the breakfast, the swimming pool and the bikes that the two nice owners lend us for free which allowed us to enjoy Malaga day or night very conveniently. The beach is close to the Villa and the old town in a walking, or...

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the place. It is definitely worth staying here during your visit to Malaga for the following reasons: First and foremost, the hosts were very welcoming and the place is more like a home than a hotel since it is a small villa meaning it is not crowded. The place has a pool...

A little hidden gem, at a perfect location! The two hosts are lovely and make you feel at home. Very relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are perfect and spotless clean. Breakfast yummy! The beds are the very best I have EVER slept in while being on holiday. They provide free to use bikes, perfect for a ride to the beach (also walking...

What a wonderful stay! Villa Lorena is a beautiful villa (very stylish!) situated in a beautiful area of Malaga. There are bikes available for everyone, beach is 2 minutes, old city approxemately 10 minutes. Delicious breakfast: good coffee, eggs, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, etc. Jeroen and Frens are really nice hosts who are doing a lot of effort to make...

This is a lovely little place, tucked away on the outskirts of the centre of Malaga. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights last weekend, and loved it. I was fortunate enough to have the room with the lovely terrace, well worth the extra money. The couple who run the place are experts at looking after their guests, and...
