The hotel was clean and the room was a good size. Good shower. We had the breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our only complain was that you could hear people walking aboard, the floors creaked and you could near people talking, didn't get much sleep at all. Would stay again but with ear plugs.

We had booked an expensive hotel and, last minute, decided to cut costs on accommodation, so we booked the Ibis at half the price instead. We were afraid that this would mean to also cut off on comfort and cleanliness, but, surprise, we didn't! It was exactly what we wanted, a nice room, not so small, very clean, no bad...

Close to the city, clean, cheap, polite staff, free wifi - but the noise from the floors above and from next door neighbours kept us awake at night, even with ear plugs! It seemed like guests in the rooms above were stomping around and our room seemed to vibrate. Be aware that twin bedded rooms are only available on the...

This is a really nice affordable hotel in a good location with nice staff . The room was modern and very clean . Only CNN as an English speaking channel . The room was ,however , way too hot and I think you would need to have the air con on during the day and night to keep it at...

This is actually a 3.5 rating. The IBIS is budget-priced, v central, and on the edge of good eating & good attractions (eg the Contemporary Art Gallery). Service is excellent - they were very helpful in rectifying any bug-bears immediately. It is, however, sans air-conditioning. And Malaga is - currently - in the mid-20s during the day. So those rooms...

Paying just above 40 euros per night for a double room we could not expect much but the hotel perfectly met our needs. Malaga's centre is just across the bridge. Staff was friendly and efficient - we even got a small gift from accorhotels (we were staying 2 weeks before Christmas). Room is typical Ibis - compact but large enough,...

Positives; Very good location to city centre, literally 5 min's walk where you can enjoy nice cafés restaurants etc as well as shopping places. Free WiFi at good quality of connection. Negatives; Small size rooms, no air conditioning, wobbly and squelching noisy floors, which is not helping much if you have a small baby or kids that you trying to...

I travel to Malaga often and usually stay at this property. Without warning I paid good money during their "in between" period of no air conditioning AND no proper functioning ventilation. It felt like sleeping in a hot tin can.
