Visited Puente Romano and can only describe the whole experience as 5 star. Everything about this beach resort is 5 star. The service and friendliness from all of the staff is impeccable. The are plenty of restaurants to choose from and on my past 9 visits have not had a less than perfect dinner in any of them. The hotel...

We recently stayed at this hotel. What I loved the most about this hotel was that it was traditional looking with a modern contemporary touch. They have a Sea Grill restaurant which serves lovely food and an area called the Plaza Village which is a nice place to sit and have a few drinks! We had an issue with our...

Currently visiting the Puente Romano, and my advice is to STAY AWAY. I sure wish we had. My family and I have stayed in many luxury properties all over the world (beach, city, mountains). e.g. Vila Vita Parc, Abama, Cap Juluca, Las Ventanas, Adler Dolomiti, Jagdhof Neustift to name just a few. I am mentioning these other stays to make...

Just a quick review to say what a fantastic weekend we had at the Puente Romano. We just had 2 nights, which we rapidly realised that would just not be enough. On the day of arrival, we chilled at the hotel, had lunch at the Sea Grill. And laid by the pool. That night we ate at Danny Garcia in...

Beautiful resort. So close to a beautiful beach access. Lovely smiling staff...but super difficult to find Reception due to remodel work. It was a nicely decorated room with a garden view patio balcony...and the remodel dumpster at front door. Our room did not have good AC or toilet that flushed properly. Because of the AC not working we had a...

Puente Romano Beach Resort & SPA Marbella, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is situated on the southern coast of Spain in the Costa del Sol within the "Golden Mile", a residential area between Marbella and Puerto Banus, just 35 minutes' drive from Malaga Airport. The heart of the Resort and its social focus is the Roman Bridge (Puente Romano) from which the property takes its name. This ancient artefact from the first century is a remaining structure of a road which once linked Cadiz with Rome, the Via Augusta.Resembling an Andalusian village, the 278 spacious guest rooms are spread in 27 three-storey villas, scattered around 55.000 sq. m. of lush, sub-tropical landscaped gardens, gently cascading down to the Mediterranean Sea. Over 400 species of plant life have been brought to the gardens from all around the world, many literally in a suitcase courtesy of HRH Principe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, the founder of the Puente Romano. ... more   less
