My wife and I decided to have our Honeymoon in Spain and this was the perfect kick off place to a relaxing and romantic getaway. The pools at the hotel, the beach, the neighboring towns were all better than the last. The room was top of the line, the bed was comfortable and the food terrific. The service all around... More

This is a beautiful hotel, perfect for a romantic getaway. We've been married for forty years so definitely.....this is not a place I would have chosen. We are being adventurous and relaxed about this trip that my travel agent recmmended, so no complaints here. Service: acceptable, they tried hard to be helpful, the concierge has a tendency to speak really... More

Just one word: TOP in all aspects!! Great service all week long. Impecable accommodation. Quite area, rest holiday. At the same time all facilities to enjoy a great stay with family or friends: loads of restaurants in the hotel and around, of good to very good level. Location in Marbella is probably the best: half way between Marbella old town... More

One of the best 5 stars hotel we have been so far, wide and spatious rooms, very well and cosy fitted , twice a day cleaning. Great breakfast including gluten free food. Warm swimming pools, a great variety of tropical plants and flowers. My kids really loved the swans which had their nest in the small lake near main restaurant.

Oct/Nov half term is a great time to try and find some late warm sunshine, and over the years we've tried hotels such as Jumeriah (Port Soller, in Majorca) Elounda in Crete, Sheraton Pine Cliffs & Vila Vita in Portugal, La Manga Resort in Spain. We were originally booked into The Marbella Club for last week, but friends told us... More

Visited this place with family for a five night break. The one thing that distinguishes this resort hotel from all the other places I have stayed in Spain, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Even the room cleaners had a smile on their faces and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. Without exception, the staff couldn't do enough... More

We spent three nights at the Puente Romano as the last part of a holiday in Andalusia. We requested to upgrade to a newly remodelled room after having read some not-so-great reviews of the older rooms on TripAdvisor. I am currently experiencing the worst night I have ever experienced in a hotel. The meal I had this evening in the SeaGrill restaurant was inedible and the worst meal I remember having in a while. The starter of grilled asparagus was hard and tasteless, followed by grilled Turbot, which contained more hard, undercooked and under-seasoned vegetables and identical to what... More

“we ended up in a ground loor room this trip - my preerence is to opt for a higher floor room which means you have to climb stair (no lifts outside of the main building) ground floor rooms are your only option if you cant climb stairs but always a little noisy late at night, whether neighbours in heals, room service carts being dragged over the tiles, or on this occasion the people above in the throws of very noisy passion. all rooms well appointed with balconies and beautiful views of the gardens. ”
