We were thrilled with La Villa Marbella. The staff was so warm and friendly and helpful - much more so than the employees at the other hotels we stayed in in Andalucia. The breakfast was fantastic, and the little extra touches in the room made the stay extra special (plush robes in the bathroom, chocolates on the bed). I would...

It was about a year ago since we stayed, but I wanted to post that this was a great hotel, with a staff that was extremely welcoming and helpful in scheduling our daytrip to Morocco. Rooftop breakfast was also great!

Marcos/Boli and company were amazing hosts at this welcoming B&B in Marbella - really a series of old-school townhouses in very close proximity to each other. We stayed in the Langkawi suite, which had recently been renovated and had an invitingly large bed and marble bathroom. I hit my head a couple times on the bed posters but other than...

We have just returned from a short break to Marbella and stayed at La Villa Marbella. The hotel is in the middle of the old town which is pretty and full of good restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is spread over 4 buildings and is well decorated and comfortable. We stayed in the Courtyard which has it's own pool...

We went to Marbella as a part of our honeymoon for 4nights 5 days. Marcos and Boli were super friendly and informative, and the best thing was that they upgraded our room to a full suite for the first 3nights without any additional cost (and without our request). Thanks~ The hotel was located near the top of the hill in...

Myself and my partner are just back from a week in La Villa Marbella. We can honestly say it is the best hotel we have ever experienced. Marcos welcomed us with a glass of wine on the roof top terrace and recommended places to eat and visit during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the LVM...

Good: Hotel staff were superlative (particularly Ben); the cottage (the building our room was in) had a nice balcony area; hotel is only 10 minutes from the beach, in the middle of cute shopping and restaurants Bad: Room was small with virtually no closet space (I had to hang shirts from a lighting fixture) Wifi: free, accessible in common areas...

When my taxi pulled up to La Villa Marbella, I couldn't help feeling a tad disappointed. I couldn't see the beach. Although I knew that it was "a short walk" from the beach, I think I still expected to be able to see it. But once we started checking in, everything improved from there. Ben and Boli, who helped us,...

is this the best hotel in Marbella? I don't know, I haven't stayed in most of them. What I can say is.... the welcome, hospitality, location, room and general ambience was first-rate. Nothing was too much trouble for Marcos, the owner, and his staff. Parking our hire car nearby cost 27 euros for three days. The car park was 3...

If you're looking for a lovely place to stay in Marbella, then look no further than La Villa Marbella. It really is deserving of its no. 1 ranking on Trip Advisor. The location is great, within the old town and within walking distance of everything. The room we had (Bintan) was beautifully appointed, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the...
