Solar Montes Claros is a lovely hotel with excellent service. When traveling, it's so comforting to have assistance with the little details, such as arranging taxis, printing tickets, details on attractions. Antonio helped me with all of these needs. Very responsive with email. Also, they serve an excellent breakfast to start your day off right. Everywhere the attention to details...

We stayed four nights at Solar Montes Claros in November 2016. The property is very well maintained and cared for. Our room, "Persia," had a juliette balcony with a very nice view out over Granada and including the Alhambra off to the side. There were a few nights when the moon would come right in the window out above the...

I spent 4 nights in 2 different stays in early October. The hotel has lot of character, is well located and you can walk to many areas from there (including downtown). The rooms are large and extremely well decorated. The 2 brothers managing the place are incredibly nice, helpful and responsive. This was one of my best experiences in an...

First off, this hotel in general is amazing. 7 rooms in total, all unique with lots of thought put into each room. I had the floor room with a large terrace and it met my needs. I loved the smell of the place which sounds weird, but I think it helped me sleep. My bed was huge! The shower pressure...

Staff were really friendly and helpful, room was ok and access to decking/balcony was a nice touch. We enjoyed it and it worked for us, however I think it is important to make it clear to potential guests that it's a bit of a climb to get to. Even though a taxi / bus can get you up the hill...

Absolutely spectacular. Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, and amazing view of Alhambra. Very quiet but easily accessed by buses and excellent restaurants nearby. It was our favorite place to stay in Spain.

We spent two nights at the Solar Montes Claros during our recent vacation. The views of the Alhambra can't be beat, and the location is very convenient, especially with the nearby stops for the C1 and C2 minibuses. We arrived in Granada by bus, and had arranged for a pickup through the B&B. That was extremely convenient as the driver...

The review we read promised views over the Alhambra, it was fantastic definitely not a disappointment. The site of the Alhambra all lit up whilst lying in bed was spectacular. We booked the Persian room. The decor was excellent. The room had a shower and a deep bath, just what we wanted to soak our aching limbs after walking around...

One of the finds of the decade! Beautiful rooms and super friendly staff. Set in a quiet part of town but close enough to be totally accessible and yet away from tourist hotspots. Very natural and charming.

This is a one of a kind B&B - in a vertical stacked house on a steep hillside on the hill holding the ancient town opposite the Alhambra. Half the houses in the neighborhood aren't even located on streets. We booked the top floor room - actually a 2-floor unit (they will carry your bags up all the stairs). The...
